The ammeter uses the phenomenon of nuclear magnetic resonance in the measurement of large direct currents and allows the lower limit of measurement to be reduced by one to two orders of magnitude. The ammeter consists of a polarizer through which a water circuit tube passes. The tube then passes through the axis of the cavity of the cylindrical primary transducer and a measuring coil is wound on it in the middle of the cavity, which is connected to the frequency meter via a sine signal generator. From the cylindrical primary transducer, the tube is led through the air gap of the analyzer, where a coil is again wound in the middle, which is connected to the input of the nuclear magnetic resonance measuring block. The analyzer consists of two permanent magnets, between which there are modulation coils, which are connected to the low-frequency generator of the measuring block. The digital ammeter is particularly suitable for metrological measurements.
Description
Vynález se týká číslicového ampérmetru pro měření velkých stejnosměrných proudů, který využívá jevu jaderné magnetické rezonance·BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a digital amperimeter for measuring large DC currents that utilizes the nuclear magnetic resonance phenomenon.
Current known ammeters for measuring large DC currents that use the nuclear magnetic resonance phenomenon are based on the principle of measuring the magnetic field induction generated by the measured current. These ammeters consist of a primary transducer of the measured current to a stationary homogeneous magnetic field, a nuclear magnetic resonance probe and a nuclear magnetic resonance measuring block, the output of which is connected to a digital frequency meter. A nuclear magnetic resonance probe containing a working fluid with hydrogen cores, eg HgO, enclosed in a housing of non-magnetic and non-conductive material, on which the detection winding is wound, is located in the cavity of the primary transducer. These ammeters can measure large DC currents with a relative inaccuracy not exceeding 0.01%. However, they are not suitable for measuring currents of less than hundreds of amperes, since the induction of the magnetic field in the working area of the primary transducer is small at low values of the measured current and therefore the signal-to-noise ratio is low for the nuclear magnetic resonance signal.
Jeho podstatou je, že. trubice vodníhoThis disadvantage is largely overcome by a digital ammeter according to the invention comprising a cylindrical primary transducer with a cavity that is of non-magnetic material, a water circuit with a polarizer, an analyzer and a nuclear magnetic resonance measuring block and a measuring coil connected via a sine signal generator to the frequency meter. Its essence is that. water tube

Umístění trubice vodního oběhu s měřící cívkou v dutině válcového primárního převodníku umožňuje snížení dolní hranice měřených stejnosměrných proudů o jeden až dva řády.Placing the water circulation tube with the measuring coil in the cavity of the cylindrical primary transducer allows lowering the lower limit of the measured DC currents by one to two orders of magnitude.

Funkce číslicového ampérmetru podle vynálezu je následující. Nejdříve voda protéká silným stacionárním homogenním magne,257914.The function of the digital ammeter according to the invention is as follows. First the water flows through a strong stationary homogeneous magne, 257914.
- 5 tickým polem polarizátoru kde v ní vzniká nerovnovážná jaderná polarizace. Spojovací trubicí 2 protéká, polarizovaná voda přes primární převodník 1 do analyzátoru jaderné magnetické rezonance. Do analyzátoru jaderné magnetické rezonance vstupuje voda s polarizací závislou na předchozím působení měřicí cívky 2·- 5 tic field of the polarizer where there is non-equilibrium nuclear polarization. Polarized water flows through the connection tube 2 through the primary converter 1 to the nuclear magnetic resonance analyzer. In the cavity 2 of the primary transducer 1, a polarized core current is applied to the current, a stationary homogeneous magnetic field caused by the measured current in the transverse direction and an oscillating magnetic field produced by the measuring coil 2 in the direction of the core flow. If the frequency of this alternating field coincides with that of the hydrogen nuclei, the magnetic polarization vector reverses its direction. The original direction of magnetic polarization was identical to the direction of magnetic induction of the transverse homogeneous stationary field in the cavity 2. By changing the direction of magnetic polarization, transversal components of magnetic polarization are formed, which are canceled during further flow. Water with polarization dependent on previous coil action 2 enters the nuclear magnetic resonance analyzer 2 ·
Aby docházelo k periodickému procházení jaderné magnetické rezonance, je magnetické pole ve vzduchové mezeře analyzátoru modulované v blízkosti rezonančního maxima pomocí modulačních cívek 8 napájených z nízkofrekvenčního generátoru £.In an analyzer where nuclear magnetic resonance is indicated by a forced precession method, a permanent homogeneous magnetic field of permanent magnets 7, whose homogeneity is better than 10 * 5% per cm, is acting on the cores in directions perpendicular to the analyzer, connected to the high frequency generator 12, generating a high frequency magnetic field. Nuclear magnetic resonance in the analyzer occurs when the frequency of the RF generator 12 coincides with the frequency of the core precession and the quality factor of the oscillating circuit formed by the coil 10 and the capacitor 11 decreases due to the absorption of energy by atomic lines. In order to periodically pass nuclear magnetic resonance, the magnetic field in the air gap of the analyzer is modulated near the resonant maximum by means of modulating coils 8 supplied from the low frequency generator 6.
Nízkofrekvenční signál jaderné magnetické rezonance je od modulovaného vysokofrekvenčního signálu oddělen detektorem 15. zesílen nízkofrekvenčním zesilovačem 14 a zobrazen na stínítku osciloskopu 15.The low-frequency nuclear magnetic resonance signal is separated from the modulated high-frequency signal by a detector 15, amplified by a low-frequency amplifier 14, and displayed on the screen of the oscilloscope 15.
The frequency of the sinusoidal signal generator 6 at which the nuclear magnetic resonance signal amplitude on the oscilloscope 15 screen is greatest is proportional to the magnitude of the measured current.
With a suitable selection of the dimensions of the primary converter 1, it can be achieved that the instrument constant can be equal to 10 11 , where n is an integer. This allows the magnitude of the measured current to be read directly from the digital frequency meter 16.
The digital ammeter according to the invention allows the absolute measurement of large DC currents. It is especially suitable for metrological measurements. For its simplicity, it is also suitable for process measurements.
