Abstract

The device is designed for automatic correction of stationary magnetic field. Its principle consists in the fact that a probe (1) of a magnetometer (3) is attached on a positioning coordinator (2), which is by means of actuators (9, 10, 11) connected across digital-to-analogue converters (8) with a control computer (14), connected by means of digital-to analogue converters (5), and current suppliers (6) to a system of correction coils (7). The device for correction of stationary magnetic field can be used in electrotechnical industry and there where it is necessary to ensure a defined homogeneity or preliminarily defined non-homogeneity of magnetic field in the operation space. On of the possible application is the correction of magnetic field of a base electromagnet of a magnetic resonance tomograph.<IMAGE>
