Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a anticuerpos monoclonales capaces de reconocer y unirse a la proteína PBP2a y a otras proteínas que presentan secuencias homólogas a PBP2a, incluyendo los patógenos Staphylococcus aureus resistentes a meticilina-MRSA, Staphylococcus coagulasa negativo, Staphylococcus sciuri, especies Enterococus y cualquier otra bacteria que posea PBP2a o secuencias homólogas a esta proteína. La invención se refiere también al uso de anticuerpos monoclonales capaces de reconocer y unirse a la proteína PBP2a y a otras proteínas que presentan secuencias homólogas a PBP2a en una inmunodiagnosis complementaria para la detección de resistencia a las beta-lactamas.The present invention relates to monoclonal antibodies capable of recognizing and binding to the PBP2a protein and other proteins that have sequences homologous to PBP2a, including the pathogens Staphylococcus aureus resistant to methicillin-MRSA, Staphylococcus coagulase negative, Staphylococcus sciuri, Enterococus species and any other bacteria that possess PBP2a or sequences homologous to this protein.
