Abstract
Un dispositivo para purificación y desinfección de agua para consumo humano, en los depósitos para almacenamiento de agua en instalaciones domésticas, comerciales y/o rurales. El dispositivo comprende un elemento superior y un elemento inferior interconectados entre sí; al menos un flotador entre sí; al menos un flotador localizado en el interior del elemento superior; al menos un soporte de alojamiento interconectado al elemento inferior para alojar un elemento de desinfección; y, al menos un elemento de desinfección. El método de elaboración del elemento de desinfección consiste en moldear el elemento capa por capa; secar bajo condiciones controladas de temperatura y humedad; calcinar los elementos de desinfección; repetir cíclicamente las etapas de secado y calcinación en cada capa; y, una vez obtenido el tamaño deseado, confirmar la estructura y porosidad, mediante un proceso de adsorción e inspección por microscopía.
