Abstract
<p>La presente invención se relaciona con Ia rama energética y en particular con un procedimiento para la obtención de emulsiones combustibles para su uso en motores de combustión interna.</p> <p>La invención se desarrolla con combustible diesel, glicerina cruda, y biodiesel de Jatropha curcas. Esta invención permite mediante el procedimiento descrito, formular un producto multicomponente para la producción de energía útil.<br /> Las características fundamentales de Ia invención son el tratamiento de Ia glicerina cruda mediante una etapa de calentamiento para su posterior uso como tensoactivo en dos formulaciones. Le sigue Ia adición del medio de dispersión, que en una primera formulación (E<sub>D</sub>) es combustible diesel estándar y Ia segunda (E<sub>B20</sub>) está compuesta por una mezcla de combustible diesel-biodiesel de Jatropha curcas (B20). Finalmente, como fase dispersa se añade a cada formulación agua desionizada, completando así el volumen requerido.</p> <p>La aparición en el mercado de grandes cantidades de glicerina debido a Ia creciente industria del biodiesel ha provocado el descenso de su precio y por ende una mayor dificultad para comercializarla, siendo ya un problema a enfrentar por Ia industria de los biocombustibles. Por otro lado, el necesario incremento de la eficiencia energética y reducción de emisiones en motores diesel han llevado al uso en determinadas aplicaciones industriales de combustibles emulsionados del tipo diesel. La presente invención tiene como ventaja que Ia aplicación de este procedimiento genera una emulsión combustible estable, reduce los costos asociadas al sector industrial que genera el residual y contribuye además a un mayor aprovechamiento de la energía. Todo lo anterior queda recogido en el procedimiento propuesto para las formulaciones E<sub>D </sub>Y E<sub>B20</sub> mediante las etapas de adición de combustible diesel y mezcla B20, respectivamente, a Ia glicerina cruda previamente tratada para su uso como tensoactivo, adición de agua desionizada y agitación ultrasónica con una frecuencia de 24 kHz.</p><p> The present invention is related to the energy branch and in particular to a procedure for obtaining fuel emulsions for use in internal combustion engines. </p> <p> The invention is developed with diesel fuel, crude glycerin , and biodiesel from Jatropha curcas. This invention allows, through the described procedure, to formulate a multicomponent product for the production of useful energy. <br /> The fundamental characteristics of the invention are the treatment of the crude glycerin by means of a heating stage for its subsequent use as a surfactant in two formulations . It is followed by the addition of the dispersion medium, which in a first formulation (E <sub> D </sub>) is standard diesel fuel and the second (E <sub> B20 </sub>) is composed of a fuel mixture diesel-biodiesel from Jatropha curcas (B20). Finally, as a dispersed phase, deionized water is added to each formulation, thus completing the required volume. </p> <p> The appearance on the market of large amounts of glycerin due to the growing biodiesel industry has caused its price to drop and therefore a greater difficulty to commercialize it, already being a problem to be faced by the biofuel industry. On the other hand, the necessary increase in energy efficiency and reduction of emissions in diesel engines have led to the use of emulsified diesel-type fuels in certain industrial applications. The present invention has the advantage that the application of this procedure generates a stable combustible emulsion, reduces the costs associated with the industrial sector that generates the residual and also contributes to a greater use of energy. All of the above is included in the procedure proposed for the formulations E <sub> D </sub> YE <sub> B20 </sub> through the steps of adding diesel fuel and B20 mixture, respectively, to the previously treated crude glycerin for use as a surfactant, addition of deionized water and ultrasonic stirring with a frequency of 24 kHz. </p>
