Abstract

La presente invención se realciona fundamentalmente con las industrias farmacéuticas y alimenticia y en particular con la obtención de formulaciones que contienen principios activos obtenidos a partir de extractos de la corteza de la planta Mangifera indica L. entre los que se encuentran polifenoles, terpenoides, esteroides, ácidos grasos y microelementos, los que exhiben propiedades antioxidante, anti-inflmatoria, analgésica y antiespasmódica, por lo que les confieren a dichas formulaciones un alto valor como suplemento nutricional y como fitofármacos para la mejoría de la calidad de vida en pacientes con enfermedades degenerativas, para el tratamiento antienvejecimiento, así como para su consumo por personas sanas.
