Abstract

Proteína quimÉrica recombinante compuesta por un fragmento de 60 aminoAcidos de la region N-terminal de la interleucina 2 (IL-2) humana fusionado al N-terminal de la region extracelular de la cadena alfa del receptor para IFN gamma (INFgamma). Esta proteína in vitro tiene actividad estimuladora del crecimiento de cÉlulas T, inhibe la actividad estimuladora del crecimiento de IL-2 en cÉlulas T, inhibe la induccion de HLA-DR por IFN gamma e inhibe la actividad antiproliferativa del IFN gamma. Esta invencion puede ser aplicada en el campo de la medicina para el tratamiento de varias patologías como enfermedades autoinmunes, rechazo a trasplantes, inflamaciones cronicas, sepsis, síndrome de isquemia y reperfusion y ateroesclerosis.
