e) Darlegung des Wesens der Erfindunge) Presentation of the essence of the invention
The invention is based on the object dan fermentation and. To influence extraction process by suitable means in such a way that the protein quantity of the biomass is increased in relation to the raw material use.
According to the invention, the object is achieved in that as the carbon source of the fermentation for the production of protozoal an alcohol is used, which previously acts wholly or partially as a solvent or as a component in the solvent mixture of the solvent extraction and is contacted with the biomass such that the alcohol is the Fermentation-promoting fermentation aid "absorbs *
This is done according to the invention in that the substrate is used as solvent or solvent component in the solvent extraction for the purification of the biomass, contacted with the biomass in the usual way and aas extracted from the extractor as Miszella. After the extraction process, including mechanical and thermal separation of solvent and biomass, the Miszella containing alcohol and cellulases is wholly or partly fed to the fermentation process.

' Gegebenenfalls kann, zur Aufrechterhaltung der Substratkonzentration, nicht erfindungsgemäß behandeltes Substrat aus anderer Quelle der Fermentation zugegeben werden*by means of the Miszella by refraction with water and / or cooling, the heavy phase almost the entire. Alcohol and. contains the Zellinhaltastoffe removed from the biomass. The heavy phase containing the alcohol, and the Zeilinhaltsstoffe is fed to the fermentation. The preferably in the boiling range of 40-120 ° G lying carbon dioxide e. In this case, the Hszellä running out of the extraction is removed by distillation in extract, which can be discharged from the process for re-use, - and in the hydrocarbon component of the solvent, which again for the Srtrktion recycled, separately. The majority of the added alcohol goes to the biomass due to the higher affinity. Zech. a first on 1 mechanical "pathways" occurring biomass separation, carried out a thermal solvent removal, wherein the resulting vapors are broken with water and the aqueous, from the carbon component of the solvent-free, alcohol and Zeilinhaltsstoffe containing phase is wholly or partially led to the fermentation. Optionally, to maintain the substrate concentration, substrate not treated according to the invention may be added from another source of fermentation *
As microorganisms for alcohol fermentation, aerobic bacterial strains such as Methylomonas methanolica, Pseudomonas methanica, various other Pseudomonas species, corynebacteria of various species, mixed cultures of methanolassiililizing bacteria, also, in mixture with non-methanol-utilizing bacteria, "obligate, methylotrophic bacteria and alcohol-assimilating yeast are used."
