Abstract
The invention relates to a process for the separation of oil-containing and nitrite-containing or oil-containing effluents in one process step. The good flocculation effect of iron hydroxide or iron hydroxide-containing compounds has been exploited compared to Oeltroepfchen. The nitrite detoxification using urea, which takes place at the p H value of 2 to 3, promotes the separation of the oil from the water. Reactants are chrome-free pickling waste water or iron hydroxide-containing waste products, urea and caustic soda. The splitting process can be carried out in a container. The iron-hydroxide-containing compounds used have hitherto not been used.
Description
Anwendungsgebiet der ErfindungField of application of the invention
The invention relates to a process for the separation of oil- and nitrite-containing or oil-containing wastewaters by means of iron hydroxide or compounds containing hydroxides.
Charakteristik der bekannten technischen LösungenCharacteristic of the known technical solutions
In der Fachliteratur werden folgende Spaltmöglichkeiten für öl- und nitrithaltige oder ölhaltige Abwässer angegeben: - thermisch-chemische Spaltverfahren - physikalisch-chemische Spaltverfahren - Membranfiltraticn - DestillationIn the literature, the following splitting possibilities for oil- and nitrite-containing or oil-containing effluents are given: - thermal-chemical splitting processes - physical-chemical splitting processes - membrane filtration - distillation
Der pH-Wert liegt hierbei zwischen 3 bis 8.In the thermal-chemical cleavage process, the cleavage of the oily and nitrite-containing or oily effluents are carried out under the action of temperature and metal salts, as well as chlorinated liquor as the oxidizing agent. The pH is between 3 and 8.
The physicochemical cleavage method does not take into account nitrite detoxification. It is upstream or downstream of the actual splitting process by means of ashes, silicates, iron, magnesium and aluminum compounds as an additional stage.
The above chemicals are contained in flocculants.
By addition in oily wastewater takes place due to the physicochemical behavior of these substances, an accumulation of oil droplets.
Membrane filtration also does not take into account nitrite detoxification. It is upstream or downstream of the actual splitting process of the reverse bream as an additional step.
In the thermal cracking processes, which include the vacuum distillation, generally no nitrite detoxification of the wastewater is performed.
Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
The invention aims to achieve a nitrite detoxification and / or a simultaneous demulsification. It is assumed that nitrite- and / or oil-containing mixed wastewater can be disposed of by means of by-products.
OF THE NATURE OF THE INVENTION It is the object of the invention to carry out a cleavage of waste oils containing oil or oil and nitrite at room temperature in one process step and reaction vessel.
The reaction takes place in the case of nitrite-free oily wastewaters at a pH of 6 to 8 and in the case of oil and nitrite-containing wastewaters at pH 2 to 3 and later pH increase to 7 to 8.
In the course of the process, the nitrite decomposes in combination with the urea into CO and N2. Nitrite detoxification is a free-up procedure and the reaction proceeds as follows: CO (NH 2) 2 + 2 NaNOj + 3 H 2 S04- ^ CO 2 4- 2 N 2 + 3 HzO + 2 Na H SO 4
Since the reaction of nitrite detoxification at pH 2 to 3 proceeds quantitatively without the use of urea as the oxidizing agent, iron-containing waste stains or acids in combination with iron hydroxide in the form of by-products can be used as reaction chemicals on the one hand for the decomposition of the nitrite and on the other hand for the oil content in the Wastewater are used.
After the decomposition of the nitrite has lapsed, the pH is raised to 7 to 8 by means of a lye, the forming iron hydroxide binds the oil droplets. It forms a precipitate containing iron hydroxide and oil.
It is not necessary to add the equivalent amount of Fe (OH) a to the oil component.
Es genügen bereits 15 %.Already 15% are enough.
For nitrite detoxification, 1.3 times the stoichiometric conversion of urea relative to the nitrite content is required for complete decomposition of the same.
Eine ökonomische Anwendung des Verfahrens ist gegeben bei NQrGehalt < 25 g/l ölgehalt < 2 g/lAn economic application of the method is given at NQr content <25 g / l oil content <2 g / l
The method according to the invention is explained below using an example of a wastewater containing oil and nitrite.
Man errechnet nach der oben genannten Formel die Einsatzmengen für Harnstoff wie folgt: 55 g N02' = 137,98 g CO [NH2]2 1 g NOj-'äS 2,5 g CO [NH2]2Urea is calculated according to the formula given above as follows: 55 g of NO 2 '= 137.98 g of CO [NH 2] 2 1 g of NO 2 SO 2 g of CO [NH 2] 2
Da aber mit dem 1,3fachen Umsatz an Harnstoff gearbeitet wird, ergibt sich folgendes Ergebnis: 1 g NOr £ 3,25 g CO [NH2]2However, since the conversion of urea is 1.3 times, the result is as follows: 1 g NOr 3.25 g CO [NH 2] 2
The amount of iron hydroxide required for the oil splitting can be present in the reaction partner in any desired concentration if 15% iron hydroxide, based on the oil content, is maintained.
Immediately at the point of accumulation, the corresponding amount of urea is added to the wastewater containing nitrite and oil. This makes a simple dosage possible. Subsequently, it is introduced into a container in which iron-containing acid is present.
After complete degassing is adjusted to pH 7 to 8. After a settling time, the spaite water can be discharged with a residual content of chloroform extractable substances of less than 30 mg / l.
Der entwässerte Schlamm kann· verbranntbzw·. deponiert werden. The dewatered sludge can be burnt or burned. be deposited.

However, because of the 1.3-fold conversion of urea, the result is:
