1. Verfahren zum Abdecken eines Bauwerkes mit Bewuchs verhindernden Metallplatten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die mit Wasser in Berührung stehende Oberfläche eines mit elektrischen oder elektrochemischen Bewuchs hemmenden Mitteln ausgestatteten Unterwasserbauwerks derart mit zahlreichen Bewuchs verhindernden Metallziegeln abdeckt, daß die betreffenden Metallziegel, die mit Wasser in Berührung stehende Oberfläche über eine elektrisch isolierende Schicht in senkrechter Richtung zu der mit Wasser in Berührung stehenden Oberfläche kontaktieren, jedoch einander in Richtung der mit Wasser in Berührung stehenden
Oberfläche nicht berühren.
2. Unterwasserbauwerk mit mindestens einem elektrischen oder elektrochemischen Bewuchs verhindernden Mittel auf den mit Wasser in Berührung stehenden Teilen, einer elektrisch isolierenden Schicht auf der Oberfläche der äußeren Platte eines untergetauchten Teils des Bauwerks zur Trennung der Leitung zwischen dieser äußeren Platte und Wasser und einer Reihe von Bewuchs verhindernden Metallziegeln auf der elektrisch
isolierten Schicht, die einander nicht berühren.
