The invention relates to a guide device for roller shutters, which serve as a movable closure for openings in buildings, such as windows, doors or the like. The roller shutter is made up of several bars which are movably connected to one another and which extend essentially in the longitudinal direction and are combined to form a roller shutter, usually housed in a roller shutter, on a rotating shaft or loosely mounted. To operate it, i.e. to raise and lower the roller shutter, the rotating shaft is filled with a drum using a belt or the like, or the drum is emptied, or the roller shutter is stored in several layers in the roller shutter box or emptied again. The roller shutter is guided outwards through a slot in the roller shutter box. This requires a special guide device opposite the building opening, which threads the roller shutter on the sides opposite the building opening (window, door) and guides it on the sides when it emerges from the slot in the roller shutter box. In addition to the guide function, the device also provides lateral sealing.

The known guide devices consist of a U-rail made of metal or plastic, which is provided with an inlet funnel. They have the disadvantage that they can only be varied minimally in terms of the width of the roller shutter to be installed, ^and especially in maintaining the distance between the roller shutter, guide rail and building opening.

The familiar rails are either screwed on the side "in one piece" or glued on the side.

When renovating old buildings where you want to use the existing roller shutter or you have to keep the same width, you also need a larger tolerance compared to the opening in the building (window, door), possibly different on one side, for attaching the guides.

The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a guide device that avoids these disadvantages and allows the guide device for the roller shutter to be designed variably and, in particular, to allow a certain amount of flexibility with regard to the clear width and depth of the building opening. It should be possible to maintain a certain dimension in relation to the window or door.

The solution to the problem according to the invention consists of a guide device with a U-shaped guide groove, which is intended to take over the actual guiding of the roller shutter on the side, and a special strip that is attached to the building opening. In relation to this permanently attached strip, the actual guide device can be optionally locked into several positions, which can be moved laterally by a grid dimension of 0 to + 15 mm or from 0 to - 15 mm.

For this purpose, this strip, which is fixed in the window opening or in the reveal of the window opening on the right and left by means of gluing, screwing or other suitable fastening means, is equipped with two clamping profiles that are 2.5 mm apart and point inwards, which can be optionally snapped into corresponding counter profiles that are arranged at a distance from each other on the actual U-rail guide profile. By choosing the appropriate grid dimensions, five different positions for storing the roller shutter guide result. The two clamping profiles pointing inwards towards the building opening, which are designed in the form of two strips with arrow-shaped heads.

are clamped with these arrow-shaped heads into the corresponding chambers (three chambers) that are formed on the U-rail by clamping their outer sides into the corresponding hammerhead-like thickening of the webs between the individual chambers or by clamping one of the webs between them with their arrow-shaped heads. With three chambers, this results in five possible variations for fixing the U-rail in a grid dimension of 7.5 mm. This applies to both the left and right guides of the roller shutter. The three open chambers as well as the hollow chambers of the U-rail formed for reinforcement are worked out when the guide profile is extruded.

It is also possible to adapt the roller shutter guide according to the invention for roller shutters with a different wall thickness, for example to be able to install roller shutters with different bar thicknesses when renovating old buildings. A dovetail-shaped recess is incorporated into the U-guide, into which a lining profile can be inserted. If, for example, the clear space for the U-profile is 18 x 32 mm, it is reduced to 10 x 32 mm by inserting such a chamber profile.

Finally, to thread the roller shutter into the roller shutter guide, roller shutter funnels can be used as inlet funnels on the U-profile, i.e. the actual roller shutter guide.

These elements, such as clamping profile strip, roller shutter guide rail, chamber profile and inlet funnel, offer a wide range of options for adaptation to the various dimensional deviations and inaccuracies.

In the drawings:

1 roller shutter, 2 U-shaped roller shutter guide, 3 roller shutter guide profile with guide groove 2, U clamping profile that is attached to the wall (reveal) 6 with adhesive. 7 and 8 mean strips, 9 and 9' mean arrow-shaped heads on the strips 7 and 8. With the help of these arrow-shaped heads, the roller shutter guide profile 3 is clamped to the clamping profile 4 via the webs 10 with the hammer-head-like thickenings 11 as required. This results in three chambers and four webs with five possible variations on each side of the roller shutter for fixing the U-rail in a grid dimension of 7.ö mm.

Figure 5 shows a chamber profile 12 that is inserted into the roller shutter guide profile 3 by means of a dovetail.

This means that the width of the guide groove 2 is reduced or made smaller if necessary. 13 means dovetail-shaped design of the foot of the chamber profile, 14 means dovetail-shaped design of the holder in the guide groove 2 of the roller shutter guide profile.

Figure 9 and Figure 10 show an inlet funnel 15, which can be inserted to the right or left as required.
