Es ist bekannt, unter Verwendung von wasserlöslichen Imprägnierungssalzen vorzugsweise zur Nachimprägnierung von in der Erde stehenden Hölzern, in erster Linie zur Nachimprägnierung von hölzernen Masten, Bandagen zu verwenden. Demzufolge besteht die Erfindung in erster Linie darin, dass der von der Bandage zu überdeckende Imprägniermittelanstrich nur bis zur Bodengleiche aufgetragen ist, und dass oberhalb der Bodengleiche nur eine wasserdichte Umhüllung erfolgt. Sind die Imprägniermittel nur unterhalb der Bodengleiche an dem zu schützenden Mast vorgesehen, so ist die Gefahr ausgeschaltet, dass das Weidevieh diesen Imprägniermittelanstrich angreift. Würde nun der Imprägniermittelanstrich ausschliesslich unterhalb der Bodengleiche vorgesehen werden, bleibt der Mastteil oberhalb der Bodengleiche ohne Schutz, d.h. der mit der Imprägnierung angestrebte Erfolg wird nicht erreicht, denn die Fäulniszone reicht bis etwa 30 cm über die Bodengleiche. Die Anbringung eines Imprägniermittelanstriches ausschliesslich unterhalb der Bodengleiche ohne einen Schutz oberhalb der Bodengleiche gibt vielmehr für die Erhaltung der Lebensdauer des zu schützenden Mastes schlechtere Voraussetzungen, als wenn überhaupt kein Schutz des Holzes in der Erd-Luftzone stattfindet. Die gemäss der Erfindung angestellten Versuche haben jedoch ergeben, dass es bei Anbringung des Imprägniermittelanstriches ausschliesslich unterhalb der Bodengleiche und der gleichzeitigen Anbringung lediglich einer wasserdichten Umhüllung oberhalb der Bodengleiche erreicht wird, dass die Imprägnierungsmittel nicht nur radial in das Holz innerhalb der Bandage eindringen, sondern sich auch longitudinal unterhalb derselben bis zum Fussende und oberhalb bis über die wasserdichte Umhüllung der Bodengleiche auswirken.The purpose of the invention is to create an impregnation bandage using water-soluble impregnation salts for wood standing in the ground, which allows full utilization of the desired impregnation effect and in which there is no incentive, in particular for grazing cattle, to damage or damage the impregnation arrangement above ground level to destroy.
