Opfindelsen vedrører en fremgangmåde til ved orienteret plastmateriale afri veligt at fastgøre en folie eller film til materialet i et fikseringsområde, idet folien eller filmen bringes til anlæg mod en begrænsningsflade 5 på materialet og fastgøres til dette ved energitilførsel, og opfindelsen vedrører endvidere en lukket beholder, i hvis mundingsdel der indgår orienteret materiale, og som er lukket ved hjælp af en oblat af film eller folie.

Ved mange anvendelser er der behov for, at en folie eller film kan fastgøres tæt og afriveligt til et underlag af plastmateriale, som i hovedsagen består af orienteret materiale. I det følgende anvendes 15 uden begrænsning termen film for den folie eller film, som skal fastgøres til underlaget. Filmens opbygning varierer alt efter omstændighederne og udgøres ved visse anvendelser af en enkeltlagfilm, f.eks. af plastmateriale eller af metal, og ved andre 20 anvendelser af en lamineret film. Ved en lamineret folie består lagene f.eks. blot af plastmateriale, idet materialets sammensætning som regel varierer fra lag til lag, medens et eller flere af lagene ved andre anvendelser består af f.eks. metallisk 25 materiale, barriere materiale etc. Den side af filmen, som skal fastgøres til underlaget, udgøres dog imidlertid altid af et materiale, som er egnet til fastgørelse til underlaget ved hjælp af opvarmning. 1 2 3 4 5 6
Det har overraskende vist sig, at det ved visse plast 2 materialer f.eks. polyethylenterephtalat (PET) eller 3 lignende materiale, er umuligt at fastgøre filmen 4 til et underlag, når dette består af orienteret plast 5 materiale og at frembringe en forbindelse, som både 6 er tæt og afrivelig. Det har vist sig, at man med

2 tidligere kendte og konventionelt anvendte fastgørelsesteknikker, hvor filmen presses til underlaget ved hjælp af mekaniske organer samtidig med, at energi tilføres filmen, ganske vist kan fastgøre filmen 5 til underlaget i en tæt forbindelse, men at den tilsigtede tætte forbindelse udelukkende opnås, hvis energitilførslen (varmetilførslen) finder sted i en sådan grad, at filmen fastgøres til underlaget så kraftigt, at den ikke kan afrives efterfølgende.
10 Dette medfører naturligvis, at kombinationen af film af den ovenfor angivne art og orienteret materiale i mundingsdelen af en beholder af plastmateriale ikke kan anvendes som emballage (beholder), hvor let åbning er nødvendig, f.eks. en beholder til lev-15 nedsmidler, såsom mejeriprodukter. Et andet problem er, at filmen deformeres, når energitilførslen er så stor, at der opnås en tæt fiksering.
Det produkt, som opnås, når f.eks. et bæger med orien-20 teret materiale i mundingen lukkes ved hjælp af en film, er derfor ikke acceptabelt, eftersom filmen dels er deformeret i en grad, som gør beholderen uacceptabel for forbrugeren, og dels sidder så hårdt fast ved mundingens kant, at den ikke kan rives af.

Opfindelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåde og en beholder, hvor de ovennævnte problemer og mangler er elimineret. Dette formål opnås ved, at fremgangsmåden udøves som angivet i den kendetegnende del af krav 30 1, og ved at beholderen er ejendommelig ved det i den kendetegnende del af krav 8 angivne.
Det er væsentligt for opfindelsen, at der i underlaget af plastmaterialet dannes et fikseringslag af et 35 i det væsentlige ikke orienteret materiale, hvilket 3

lag udgør forbindelseslaget mellem underlagets orienterede materiale og filmen. Eftersom dette lag består af i det væsentlige ikke orienteret materiale, er 5 det muligt at anvende konventionel teknik til fiksering af folien på underlaget og at opnå den ønskede afrive-lighed.
Til dannelse af fikseringslaget af i det væsentlige 10 ikke orienteret materiale tilføres energi til fikseringsområdet, hvilket sker f.eks. ved hjælp af et mekanisk organ, der har en kontaktflade, som ved en temperatur i området for eller over den temperatur, ved hvilken orienteringen for fikseringslagets ma-13 teriale begynder at blive ophævet, ligger an mod den vordende fikseringsflade under et bestemt tidsinterval .
Ved andre anvendelser sker opvarmningen ved, at den 20 vordende fikseringsflade udsættes for en stråling, som har en således valgt frekvens eller sammensætning, at plastmaterialet i fikseringslaget hindrer strålingen i at passere fikseringslaget, f.eks. optisk stråling eller varmestråling. Opvarmning ved hjælp 25 af en flamme anvendes også ved visse udførelsesformer.
Ved en foretrukken anvendelse anvendes den ovenfor beskrevne teknik i forbindelse med lukning af en beholder, f.eks. et bæger, hvis mundingskant eller 30 mundingsflange består af orienteret materiale. Herved opnås, at de egenskaber, som materialet har antaget ved orienteringen, og dermed beholderens egenskaber bevares også i mundingsområdet samtidig med, at lukningen af beholderen kan ske ved hjælp af en afrivelig 35 film eller folie.

5 Fig. 2 viser et tværsnit svarende til fig. 1 gennem partiet 1 af plastmateriale, men der danner plastmaterialet to lag henholdsvis 7 og 10, idet laget 7 svarer til hoveddelen af det orienterede plastmateriale ifølge fig. 1, medens det andet lag 10 svarer 10 til den øvrige del af det orienterede materiale i partiet 1, som er omdannet til at udgøre et øvre lag af i det væsentlige ikke orienteret materiale, der i det følgende som regel omtales som fikseringslag 10. Fikseringslagets ydre begrænsningsflade svarer 15 til den øvre begrænsningsflade 3 i fig. 1 og er betegnet med 11.
Fig. 3 viser et mekanisk opvarmningsorgan 30, der er udformet med kanaler 32 til transport af varme-20 bærende medium. Opvarmningsorganet har en anlægsflade 31, der vender mod et modhold 35, hvis mod opvarm-ningsorganet vendende anlægsflade er betegnet med 36. Modholdet er udformet med kanaler 37 til tranport af varmebærende medium. Materialepartiet 1 ligger 25 an mod opvarmningsorganets 30 anlægsflade 31 til overførsel af varmeenergi til materialepartiet. Den uregelmæssige linie i partiet 1 markerer et overgangs-område 8 mellem materiale, som opvarmes af opvarmningsorganet 30, og materiale, som ikke opvarmes.

5 Mellem sammenpresnings- og opvarmningsorganet 50 samt modholdet 55 findes et parti 1 af plastmateriale, bestående af et lag 7 af orienteret plastmateriale og et dermed integreret fikseringslag 10 af i det væsentlige ikke orienteret materiale.

Det er klart for en fagmand, at modholdene henholdsvis 35 og 55 alternativt kan være udformet med drivorganer til bevægelse svarende til det, som er beskrevet for organerne 30, 50 og/eller, at opvarmningsorganer-20 ne samt modholdene kan være indrettet til relativ bevægelse til indtagelse af stillinger, der svarer til åbningsstillingerne eller arbejdsstillingerne.
I fig. 5 er der også vist et parti 1 ifølge fig.
25 2, der er sammensat af laget 7 af orienteret plast materiale og laget 10 (fikseringslaget) af i det væsentlige ikke orienteret materiale. En folie eller film 2, der herefter som regel omtales som film, er anbragt mellem det mekaniske sammenpresnings-30 og opvarmningsorgans 50 anlægsflade 51 og fikserings-laget 10 og ligger således an mod fikseringslagets anlægsflade 11. 7 I fig. 4 er der vist et opvarmningsorgan 40, som er udformet med en linse 41 til konvergering af en stråle 45 af f.eks. lys mod fladen 3 på det i afstand beliggende parti 1 af orienteret materiale. Strålingen har en frekvens eller en sammensætning, der er 5 således valgt, at plastmaterialet i hovedsagen hindrer, at strålingen passerer gennem dette. Som regel har linsen 41 en således valgt udformning, at den mod partiets 1 flade 3 brudte stråle har et båndformet udseende. Opvarmningsorganet 40 og partiet 1 er så-10 ledes indrettet, at de ved hjælp af drivorganer (ikke vist) kan bevæges i forhold til hinanden med i hovedsagen bevaret koncentration af strålen 45 mod partiets 1 begrænsningsflade 3. Henvisningsbetegnelsen 10 markerer det under dannelse værende fikseringslag 15 af i det væsentlige ikke orienteret materiale.
Ved visse anvendelser udgøres opvarmningsorganet 40 af en brænder, f.eks. en gasbrænder, fra hvilken der udgår en flamme 45, som er rettet mod partiet 20 1 af orienteret plastmateriale.
Fig. 6 og 7 viser et tværsnit gennem en beholders 13 mundingsområde. Beholderen har en mundingsdel 16, der har et rundtgående mundingsområde 14 af orien-25 teret materiale 7, som er begrænset af fikseringslaget 10 af i det væsentlige ikke orienteret materiale med en fikseringsflade 11. Ved en foretrukken anvendelse er det rundtgående mundingsområde 14 udformet med en mundingskant flange 15. Ved visse anvendelser 30 er mundingskant flangen udeladt, idet den er afsluttet med et lag af i det væsentlige ikke orienteret materiale, som danner mundingsdelens fikseringslag.
Fig. 7 viser, hvorledes en oblat 17 af folie eller film er fiksereret til fikseringslaget 10 til tætnende 35 lukning af beholderen.

Ifølge en foretrukken udførelsesform for opfindelsen dannes fikseringslaget 10 ved, at det orienterede’ plastmateriale 7 i forbindelse med den vordende fikseringsflade 11 opvarmes til en temperatur i området 5 for eller over den temperatur, ved hvilken materialets orientering begynder at blive reduceret. Ved f.eks.
PET har opvarmningsorganets 30 anlægsflade ved en foretrukken udførelsesform en temperatur på over 190° C. Ved anvendelser, hvor fikseringslaget skal 10 bestå af i det væsentlige amorft materiale, opvarmes materialet til smeltning, idet opvarmningsorganet har en temperatur, der i det mindste overstiger materialets smeltetemperatur noget. Derved omdannes i dette område det før opvarmningen orienterede mate-15 riale til et i hovedsagen ikke orienteret materiale, der danner fikseringslaget 10. Som regel begrænses opvarmningstiden, så at den angivne højeste temperatur kun opnås i et relativt tyndt materialeområde, der således i tværsnit fortsættes af orienteret materiale.

Den i det foregående beskrevne opvarmning til dannelse af fikseringslaget 10 sker ved visse udførelsesformer ved hjælp af det mekaniske opvarmningsorgan 30, medens strålingsorganet 40 eller brænderen 40 anvendes i 25 andre udførelsesformer. Ved visse udførelsesformer indgår et som en valse udformet opvarmningsorgan svarende til det i fig. 3 viste mekaniske organ 30. Folien eller filmen eller alternativt det orienterede materialeområde ruller over valsen til lokal opvarmning 30 til dannelse af et fikseringslag 10. Som regel giver omgivelserne tilstrækkelig køling til, at fikserings-laget hurtigt nedkøles til så lav en temperatur, at materialet i dette bliver i hovedsagen amorft.
Ved visse anvendelser, hvor der kræves et relativt 35 tykt fikseringslag, kompletteres udstyret med et organ 9

til forceret afkøling af det opvarmede fikserings-lag. Sådan afkøling sker ved visse anvendelser ved hjælp af en stråle eller tæppe af køleluft, medens det med fikseringslag forsynede materiale ved andre 5 anvendelser passerer en kølevalse.
Det orienterede materialeområde og filmen (folien) placeres derpå mellem modholdet 55 og sammenpresnings-og opvarmningsorganet 50, idet i det mindste det 10 orienterede materialeområde eller filmen i det mindste i det vordende fikseringsområde begrænses af fikseringslaget 10. Dette har en sådan placering, at det danner materialeområdets henholdsvis filmens begrænsning, når materialeområdet og filmen ligger 15 an mod hinanden. Sammenpresnings- og opvarmnings- organet 50 samt modholdet 55 bevæges derpå mod hinanden, så at filmen 2 af opvarmningsorganet presses mod materialeområdet samtidigt med, at varme tilføres fra organet 50. Fikseringslaget 10 på materialeom-20 rådet eller filmen medfører, at filmen fæstnes til materialeområdet, og at den ønskede forbindelse med i hovedsagen ikke orienteret plastmateriale opnås.
Til fastgørelse af filmen til det aktuelle materiale-parti er materialet henholdsvis filmen ved visse anven-25 delser belagt med et klæbemiddel, hvis fikserende virkning udløses ved varmetilførsel. Ued visse anvendelser lader man opvarmningsorganet 30, ved hjælp af hvilket fikseringslaget 10 dannes, være erstattet af sammenpresnings- og opvarmningsorganet, der i et første 30 arbejdstrin ligger direkte an mod partiets 1 øvre begrænsningsflade 3 til dannelse af fikseringslaget 10, hvorpå anlægget bringes til ophør ved, at organet og materialepartiet 1 bevæges i forhold til hinanden, så at organets afstand til begrænsningsfladen (fik-35 seringsfladen) 11 øges, så at filmen 2 kan indlægges.

I et andet trin anvendes sammenpresnings- og opvarmningsorganet 50 til fiksering af filmen mod fikserings-laget 10 ifølge den ovenfor beskrevne teknik.

Den i fig. 3 og 5 viste principielle teknik til fiksering af filmen til et underlag af orienteret materiale, som er udformet med fikseringslaget 10 kan naturligvis også anvendes i forbindelse med de i 10 fig. 6 og 7 viste udførelsesformer, hvor fikserings-laget 11 udgør en begrænsning af et rundtgående mund-ningsområde 14 på en beholder. Teknikken gør det således muligt, at oblaten 17 ved konventionel teknik kan forbindes med mundingskanten på en beholder 13 15 selv ved anvendelser, hvor mundingskanten i hovedsagen består af orienteret materiale 7.
Ifølge opfindelsen er effekten af den tilførte energi eller strålingens intensitet relativ stor. Eftersom 20 plastmaterialet har en relativ lille varmeledningsevne, sker der en hurtig opvarmning af materialet i et område nær lagets flade (den vordende fikseringsflade) samtidig med, at materialets ringe varmeledningsevne medfører, at temperaturgradienten bliver stor i forhold 25 til det underliggende orienterede materiale. Energitilførslen afbrydes efter en tidsperiode, som er bestemt af materialets varmeledningsevne og er som regel således valgt, at kun et tyndt materialelag under fikseringsfladen (tidligere omtalt som fikseringslaget) 30 når så høje temperaturer, at materialets orientering i hovedsagen ophører. Den øvrige del af materialet set i tværsnit gennem dette opvarmes kun i ringe grad og bevarer derfor sin orientering og udgør et dimensionsbestemmende støttelag for fikseringslaget.

hensyn til styrke, temperaturbestandighed, formstabilitet etc. bestemmende for et produkt, på hvilket en film er fastgjort til støttelaget ifølge den ovenfor beskrevne fremgangsmåde.

Ved anvendelser, hvor man ønsker, at materialet i fikseringslaget i hovedsagen eller i det mindste i området op til fikserings fladen skal bestå af i hovedsagen amorft materiale eller materiale med lav 10 termisk krystallisation, opvarmes fikseringslaget således, at materialet smelter, hvorpå materialet i fikseringslaget umiddelbart efter opvarmningen hurtigt køles ned til en temperatur under krystallisationstemperaturen. Dette sker f.eks. under anvendelse 15 af mekaniske organer, som er i kontakt med fikserings-lagets materiale, og som i det mindste i kontaktområderne består af materialeområder med god varme-ledningsevne. Ved hjælp af f.eks. kølekanaler holdes disse materialeområder på de mekaniske organer ved 20 en lav temperatur, f.eks. ved 0° C.
Teknikken kan også anvendes ved anvendelser, hvor f.eks. et aluminiumlag forsynes med et lag af materiale, der efter opvarmning er egnet til at udgøre forbindel-25 sesmiddel mellem aluminiumfolien og bægerets mundingskant .
Ved visse anvendelser tillades det, at fikseringslaget set i tværsnit består i det mindste delvis af krystal-30 liseret materiale. Specielt i et område af fikserings-laget, som i tværsnit ligger relativt langt borte fra fikseringsfladen medfører materialets dårlige varmeledningsevne, at det opvarmede materiale bevarer en for krystallisation passende temperatur i så lang 35 tid, at den termiske krystallisation foregår så længe, 12

at materialet ved visse anvendelser bliver opakt i dette område.
Teknikken ifølge opfindelsen kan naturligvis også 5 anvendes, når en film eller folie af orienteret materiale skal forsynes med et fikseringslag af i hovedsagen ikke orienteret materiale. Denne udførelsesform for opfindelsen er særlig egnet til anvendelse i forbindelse med en oblat med en forholdsvis stor 10 tykkelse og specielt ved anvendelser, hvor f.eks. en beholders mundingskant består af et materiale og har en udformning, som gør det muligt, at energien fra sammenpresnings- og opvarmningsorganet kan passere gennem mundingskantens materiale til oblatens 15 materiale stødende op til kontaktfladerne mellem oblaten og mundingskanten.
Den ovenstående beskrivelse har blot refereret til et begrænset antal udførelsesformer for opfindelsen, 20 men en fagmand vil let indse, at opfindelsen omfatter et stort antal udførelsesformer inden for rammerne af de efterfølgende patentkrav.

Claims (9)

1. Fremgangsmåde til fiksering af en folie eller 5 en film (2) til et materialeparti (1) af orienteret materiale til dannelse af et fikseringsområde, idet folien eller filmen bringes til anlæg mod en begrænsningsflade (3) på materialet, og idet filmen eller folien fikseres til materialet ved tilførsel af energi 10 til fikseringsområdet, kendetegnet ved, at orienteret materiale indgående i det vordende fikseringsområde opvarmes, inden folien eller filmen (2) bevæges til anlæg mod materialepartiet (1), ved tilførsel af energi til en temperatur i området for 13 eller over den temperatur, ved hvilken materialets orientering begynder at blive reduceret, idet materialet orienteret før opvarmningen i nævnte fikseringsområde omdannes til et i hovedsagen ikke orienteret materiale, at folien eller filmen (2) bevæges 20 til anlæg med sin ene begrænsningsflade (6) mod en fikseringsflade (11) på materialepartiet (1), og at filmen eller folien fikseres til materiale-partiet ved opvarmning af materialet i forbindelse med kontaktområderne (6 og 11). 25

Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegne t ved, at opvarmningen til omdannelsen af det orienterede materiale til et i hovedsagen ikke orienteret materiale sker i et relativt tyndt fikseringslag 30 (10), der er beliggende under fikseringsfladen. 1 Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2, kendetegne t ved, at fikseringslaget (10) efter opvarmning hurtigt nedkøles til dannelse af et lag af et i det 35 væsentlige amorft materiale. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2 eller 3, k ende-tegnet ved, at fikseringslagets (10) materiale opvarmes ved hjælp af et mekanisk organ (30), der har en anlægsflade (31), som ved en temperatur i 5 området for eller over smeltetemperaturen for fikseringslagets (10) materiale ligger an mod fikserings-fladen i et forudbestemt tidsinterval.

Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2 eller 3, k e n d e -10 tegnet ved, at opvarmningen finder sted ved hjælp af stråling, som har en således valgt frekvens eller sammensætning, at plastmaterialet i fikserings-laget (10) i det væsentlige hindrer, at strålingen passerer gennem fikseringslaget, eller at opvarmningen 13 finder sted ved hjælp af en flamme, som rettes mod fikseringslagets (10) fikseringsflade.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge .et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-5, kendetegnet ved, at et rundt- 20 gående mundingsområde (14) på en beholder (13) opvarmes til dannelse af fikseringslaget (10).
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6, kendetegnet ved, at fikseringslaget dannes på beholderens 25 mundingskantflange (15).
8. Beholder (13) af plastmateriale, der er lukket ved hjælp af en af en film eller folie (2) dannet oblat (17), hvor orienteret materiale indgår i beholderens 30 mundingsdel (16), kendetegnet ved, at beholderens (13) orienterede materiale i et rundtgående mundingsområde (14) i et tværsnit gennem materialet har et med det orienterede materiale integreret fikseringslag (10), og/eller oblaten har et mod det 35 orienterede materiale vendende fikseringslag (10) af i hovedsagen ikke orienteret materiale til fiksering DK 163046 B af oblaten (17) til det orienterede materiale.
9. Beholder ifølge krav 8, kendetegnet ved, at oblaten (17) er afriveligt fæstnet til beholderen.
10. Beholder ifølge krav 8 eller 9, kendeteg net ved, at beholderen er udformet med en mundingsflange (15), hvor fikseringslaget (10) danner en rundtgående begrænsningsflade (11), eller at beholderen er udformet med en mundingsflange (15), på hvilken 10 fikseringslaget (10) udgør et øvre begrænsningslag, som oblaten er fikseret til.
