Claims (23)
1. Sammensætning omfattende en alkanolamid, der kan opnås ved en fremgangsmåde omfattende de følgende trin: (a) at tilsætte diethanolamin (DEA) til en fedtsyre med en hastighed på fra 0,001 % af samlet DEA pr. minut til 5 % af samlet DEA pr. minut for at danne en blanding af fedtsyre og DEA, hvor den samlede molmængde af fedtsyre i blandingen er større end den samlede molmængde af DEA; (b) at påføre et vakuum på blandingen; og (c) at fastholde blandingen ved en temperatur på fra 100 °C til 170 °C i højst 16 timer, hvor sammensætningen har de følgende fysiske egenskaber:
2. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1, hvor: (a) fedtsyren er udvalgt blandt cocoat, caprin, myristin, palmitin, stearin, olie, linol, arachidon, eruca og behensyrer og blandinger deraf; (b) fedtsyren omfatter isostearinsyre; eller (c) fedtsyren er isostearinsyre.
3. Sammensætning ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvor DEA tilsættes med en hastighed på fra 0,001 % af samlet DEA pr. minut til 1 % af samlet DEA pr. minut.
4. Sammensætning ifølge krav 3, hvor DEA tilsættes med en hastighed på fra 0,002 % af samlet DEA pr. minut til 0,5 % af samlet DEA pr. minut.
5. Sammensætning ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvor den samlede mængde af fedtsyre i forhold til DEA ligger i området af molforhold på 1 : 0,4-1,0 (fedtsyre : DEA).
6. Sammensætning ifølge krav 5, hvor den samlede mængde af fedtsyre i forhold til DEA ligger i området af molforhold på 1 : 0,5-0,85 (fedtsyre : DEA).
7. Sammensætning ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvor blandingen fastholdes ved et tryk på 66,7 kPa (500 mm Hg) eller derunder i en væsentlig del af reaktionstiden.
8. Sammensætning ifølge krav 7, hvor blandingen fastholdes ved et tryk på 33,3 kPa (250 mm Hg) eller derunder i en væsentlig del af reaktionstiden.
9. Sammensætning ifølge krav 7 eller 8, hvor trykket fastholdes i det væsentlige i hele den tid, det tager at tilsætte DEA, og/eller i hele reaktionstiden.
10. Sammensætning ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvor blandingen fastholdes ved en temperatur på fra 125 °C til 160 °C.
11. Sammensætning ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvor sammensætningen indeholder mindre end 2000 vægt-ppm BHEP.
12. Sammensætning ifølge et af de foregående krav, hvilken har et DEA-indhold på mindre end 1,0 vægt-%.
13. Brændstofadditiv, som omfatter en sammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 12.
14. Flydende carbonhydrid-brændstof, som omfatter en sammensætning ifølge et af kravene 1 til 12.
15. Brændstof ifølge krav 14, som er et brændstof i benzinkvalitet.
16. Anvendelse af en sammensætning ifølge et af kravene 1 til 12 som et flydende carbonhydridadditiv.
17. Anvendelse ifølge krav 16, hvor sammensætningen anvendes som et friktionsmodificerende additiv.
18. Fremgangsmåde til forebyggelse af og/eller reducering af dannelsen af aflejringer i en motor, omfattende tankning og betjening af motoren med en brændstofsammensætning ifølge enten krav 14 eller krav 15.
19. Fremgangsmåde til opnåelse af forbedret brændstoføkonomi i en benzinmotor, omfattende tankning og betjening af motoren med en brændstofsammensætning ifølge enten krav 14 eller krav 15.
20. Fremgangsmåde til opnåelse af forbedret brændstofsmøreegenskab i lav-sulfur- eller ULSD-dieselbrændstoffer, omfattende tankning og betjening af en motor med en brændstofsammensætning ifølge enten krav 14 eller krav 15.
21. Fremgangsmåde til opnåelse af forbedret holdbarhed og/eller stabilitetskontrol af et brændstof, omfattende at tilsætte et brændstofadditiv ifølge krav 13 til brændstofadditivet.
22. Fremgangsmåde til reducering eller eliminering af ventilfastklæbning i en motor, som forbrænder et brændstof og har indgangsventiler, omfattende tankning og betjening af motoren med en brændstofsammensætning ifølge enten krav 14 eller krav 15.
23. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en alkanolamid, hvor fremgangsmåden er som defineret i et af kravene 1 til 10.
