Abstract
Description
PATENTKRAV 1. A process for the preparation of a human pluripotent granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (hpG-CSF) product with in vivo granulocytopoietic biological properties as naturally occurring hpG-CSF, characterized in that the method comprises the following steps: (a) mammalian cells comprising promoter DNA other than hpG-CSF promoter DNA and operably linked to DNA encoding a hpg-CSF polypeptide with the mature amino acid sequence of Figure Vil; and (b) isolating the hpg-CSF product expressed by the cells. The method of claim 1, characterized in that the promoter DNA is viral promoter DNA. The method of claim 1, characterized in that the cells are primate cells. The method of claim 3, characterized in that the primate cells are COS cells.
