Abstract

Der beskrives en fremgangsmåde til behandling af en biomasse (for eksempel halm) med et indhold af lignocellulose, så cellulose og hemicellulose gøres tilgængelig for videre forarbejdning, typisk en nedbrydning, uden behov for energikrævende opslæmning af biomassen i vand. Fremgangsmåden omfatter gentagne komprimeringer af biomassen i en reciprokerende stempelpresse, hvor der til stadighed tilføres løs biomasse ind i et stempellammer foran et stempel, der fører den løse biomasse ind i et rørformet reaktionskammer hvor biomassen komprimeres for etablering af dampeksplosion samt autohydrolyse under en samtidig forskydning afkomprimeret biomasse gennem reaktionskammeret. Biomassen kan efter komprimeringen tilsættes til flydende husdyrgødning, flydende spildevandsslam med videre i et biogasanlæg for en efterfølgende biogasproces.
