Claims (9)
1. Sulfideret bulkmetalkatalysator fremstillet ved kombinering af et gruppe VIII-metal, et gruppe VIB-metal og en organisk kompleksdanner, som er en organisk syre, der indeholder en -COOH-funktionel gruppe og mindst én yderligere funktionel gruppe valgt blandt carboxylsyre -COOH, hydroxmatsyre -N0H-C=0, hydroxo -OH, keto -C=0, amin -NH2, amid: -CO-NH2, imin: -CNOH, epoxy: =COC= eller thiol: -SH, hvor molforholdet mellem organisk kompleksdanner og metal er større end 3:1, til frembringelse af en katalysatorprækursorsammensætning, hvilken katalysatorprækursorsammensætning har et overfladeareal på 16 m2/g eller mindre baseret på Brunauer-Ernett-Teller (BET)-metoden, og sulfidering af katalysatorprækursorsammensætningen til frembringelse af katalysatoren, hvor katalysatorprækursorsammensætningen indeholder fra 10 vægt-% til 60 vægt-% af en organisk forbindelsebaseret bestanddel dannet af den organiske kompleksdanner.
2. Katalysator ifølge krav 1, hvor gruppe VIII-metallet er nikkel eller kobolt, og gruppe VIB-metallet er molybden eller wolfram.
3. Katalysator ifølge krav 1, hvor katalysatoren indeholder områder af MeS2 med stakhøjder i intervallet fra 1,2 til 2,5 baseret på transmissions-elektronmikroskopi (TEM), hvor Me er et gruppe VIB-metal.
4. Katalysator ifølge krav 1 med et overfladeareal på mindre end 10 m2/g baseret på Brunauer-Ernett-Teller (BET)-metoden.

Katalysator ifølge krav 1, hvor gruppe VIII-metallet og gruppe VIB-metallet er tilvejebragt i form af salte valgt blandt carbonater, nitrater, sulfater, acetater, chlorider, hydroxider, hydroxycarbonater, acetylacetater, acetylacetonater, glyciner, naphthenater, oxider, hydrerede oxider, carboxylater, formater, oxalater, tartrater, lactater, propionater, citrater, glyoxylater, gluconater, glycolater eller ammonium- eller aminformer deraf.

Katalysator ifølge krav 1, hvor den organiske kompleksdanner er valgt blandt pyrodruesyre, levulinsyre, 4-acetylsmørsyre, 1,3-acetonedicarboxylsyre, 3-oxopropansyre, 4-oxobutansyre, 2,3-diformylravsyre, 5-oxopentansyre, 4-oxopentansyre, thioglycolsyre, ethylglyoxylat, glycolsyre, glucose, gluconsyre, glycin, oxamsyre, glyoxylsyre, glyoxylsyre-2-oxim, ethylendiamintetraeddikesyre, nitrilotrieddikesyre, N-methylaminodieddikesyre, iminodieddikesyre, citronsyre, oxalsyre, 2-ketogulonsyre, ketogluconsyre, alfa-ketoglutarsyre, 2-ketosmørsyre, acetylacetone og oxaleddikesyre.
9. Fremgangsmåde til hydrogenbehandling, som omfatter behandling af et råstof med hydrogen i nærvær af en katalysator ifølge krav 1.
