Claims (18)
1. Apparat til selektivt at ødelægge delende celler i et målområde af levende væv, hvor de delende celler har polariserbare eller polære eller ladede intracellulære elementer, hvilket apparat omfatter: en første isoleret elektrode (230; 1210), som har en første leder; en anden isoleret elektrode (230; 1200), som har en anden leder; en elektrisk felt-kilde forbundet til de første og anden isolerede elektroder (230; 1210, 1200) til påføring afen vekslende elektrisk potentialforskel over de første og anden ledere, som har en frekvens på mellem omkring 50 kHz til omkring 500 kHz og en elektrisk felt-intensitet på mellem omkring 0,1 V/cm til omkring 10,0 V/cm for at skabe en tilstand i de delende celler, som fremmer ødelæggelsen deraf; et mellemliggende element (270) dannet af et fyldmateriale anbragt mellem en af de første og anden isolerede elektroder (230; 1210, 1200) og en hudoverflade, når anbragt på levende væv, hvilket fyldmateriale har en høj ledningsevne; og en tredje leder (1100; 1400) anbragt i det mellemliggende element (270), således at fyldmaterialet af det mellemliggende element (270) fuldkommen omgiver den tredje leder (1100; 1400).
2. Apparatet ifølge krav 1, hvor den tredje leder (1100) har en længde lig med eller omkring lig med en længde af de første og anden ledere (230; 1200, 1210).
3. 8. Apparatet ifølge krav 7, hvor det mellemliggende fyldmateriale har en tykkelse på omkring 0,5 mm til omkring 2 mm.

Apparatet ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 9, hvor den første elektrode (230; 1210) inkluderer et første dielektrisk element, som er i kontakt med den første leder, hvor det første dielektriske element er til placering mod det levende væv for at danne en kondensator, og den anden elektrode (230; 1200) inkluderer et andet dielektrisk element, som er i kontakt med den anden leder, hvor det andet dielektriske element er til placering mod det levende væv for at danne en kondensator.
