Claims (14)
1. Fremgangsmåde til bestemmelse af sandsynligheden for cancerrecidiv hos en patient med prostatacancer, der omfatter: måling af ekspressionsniveauet af GSTM2 i en biologisk prøve, der omfatter prostatavæv opnået fra patienten; forudsigelse af sandsynligheden for cancerrecidiv for patienten; hvor et forhøjet ekspressionsniveau af GSTM2 er negativt forbundet med en forøget risiko for recidiv.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor ekspressionsniveauet måles ved anvendelse af et RNA-transkript af GSTM2.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, der yderligere omfatter normalisering af ekspressionsniveauet til opnåelse af et normaliseret ekspressionsniveau.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, 2 eller 3, hvor sandsynligheden for cancerrecidiv er baseret på klinisk recidivfrit interval (cRFI).

9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor den biologiske prøve omfatter prostatatumorvæv med det primære Gleason-mønster for prostatatumoren.
10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor den biologiske prøve omfatter prostatatumorvæv med det højeste Gleason-mønster for prostatatumoren.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor den biologiske prøve er prostatatumorvæv.
12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor den biologiske prøve er non-tumorprostatavæv.
13. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, der yderligere omfatter bestemmelse af sandsynligheden for opgradering eller udvikling til et højere stadium for patienten med prostatacancer, hvor et forhøjet ekspressionsniveau af GSTM2 er negativt forbundet med en forøget risiko for opgradering/udvikling til et højere stadium.
14. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af ovennævnte krav, hvor den biologiske prøve er en fikseret, paraffinindstøbt vævsprøve.
