Claims (7)
1. Celle til elektrolyse af alkaliopløsninger, som er underinddelt af en kation-bytningsmembran i et anodisk og et katodisk kammer, hvor det anodiske kammer består af et væskekammer, som er afgrænset af en anodisk væg og af membranen og fyldt med en alkalisk elektrolyt, der består af en vandig opløsning af kaustisk soda ved en koncentration af 10 til 45 vægt%, hvor det anodiske kammer indeholder en anode, der er egnet til oxygenudvikling og omfatter midler til tilførsel og udledning af den alkaliske elektrolyt, hvor det katodiske kammer består af et gaskammer, som afgrænses af en katodisk væg og membranen, hvor det katodiske kammer indeholder en gasdiffusionskatode i tæt kontakt med membranen gennem et katalytisk aktiveret lag, som eventuelt indeholder platinum, hvor gasdiffusionskatoden er egnet til perkolering af en elektrolytfilm, som kommer fra det anodiske kammer, hvor gasdiffusionskatoden er forsynet med et porøst lag, som er egnet til gastransport, hvor det katalytisk aktiverede lag af gasdiffusionskatoden er et hydrofilt lag, som er egnet til perkoleringen af elektrolytfilmen, hvor gasdiffusionskatoden yderligere omfatter et udvendigt hydrofobisk lag, som er egnet til at gøre det nemmere at frigive hydrogen til det katodiske gaskammer.
2. Celle ifølge krav 1, hvor kationudvekslingsmembranen er et uforstærket monolag af sulfonmembran.
3. Celle ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor gasdiffusionskatoden og den katodiske væg bringes i elektrisk kontakt ved hjælp af en strømaftager, som består af en porøs metalstruktur, eventuelt nikkel- eller stålskum.
4. Celle ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den anode, som er egnet til oxygenudvikling, og den katodiske væg bringes i elektrisk kontakt ved hjælp af en strømaftager, som består af en porøs metalstruktur, eventuelt nikkel- eller stålskum eller -måtte.
5. Celle ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den anode, som er egnet til oxygenudvikling, består af et substrat, der er fremstillet af nikkeleller ståltrådnet eller en udvidet eller stanset plade, eventuelt aktiveret med en katalytisk coating, i direkte kontakt med membranen.
6. Elektrolysator af alkaliopløsninger, bestående af en modulær indretning af celler ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, elektrisk forbundet gennem den anodiske og katodiske væg ifølge en bipolar eller monopolar konfiguration.
7. Fremgangsmåde til elektrolyse i en celle ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 5, omfattende de følgende samtidige eller på hinanden følgende trin: - tilførsel af en elektrolyt, der består af en vandig opløsning af kaustisk soda med en koncentration på 10 til 45 vægt% til det anodiske kammer, med per-kolering af en elektrolytfilm indvendigt i gasdiffusionskatoden; - forbindelse af det katodiske kammer med den negative pol og af det anodiske kammer med den positive pol af en effektenhed, med efterfølgende forsyning af elektrisk jævnstrøm; - katodisk udvikling af hydrogen indvendigt i elektrolytfilmen og udledning af hydrogen fra det katodiske kammer; - udvikling af oxygen på overfladen af anoden; - udtagning af udstødningselektrolyt, der indeholder opløst oxygen fra det anodiske kammer.
