Abstract
1. Electrically heated hot plate, especially a cooking plate, with an upper contact surface and a massive body of an aluminium alloy, characterized in that a thermally sprayed intermediate layer (3) of aluminium or a nickel-aluminium alloy with an aluminium content of 20 to 40 % is adhered to the massive body (1), on to which is thermally sprayed as contact surface a 100-400 mu m thick surface layer (2) of at least one oxide compound of aluminium.
