Abstract

El uso de un alginato como agente gelificante activado por pH en la fabricación de una composición que comprende una sal de paraquat, una sal de diquat o una mezcla de las mismas, composición que comprende además un emético y/o purgativo, de modo tal que el efecto gel activado por pH tiene lugar en el pH ácido del jugo gástrico humano. El agente gelificante se usa preferiblemente en ausencia sustancial de trisilicato de magnesio y preferiblemente tiene una viscosidad en una solución al 1% en agua de entre 2 y 2000 mPa.
