Abstract

Un método para procesar el jugo de caña de azúcar a partir de tallos de caña de azúcar en bruto para producir diversas formas de un producto de jugo de caña de azúcar natural que preserva los policosanoles naturales. El método incluye las etapas de proporcionar tallos de caña de azúcar con altas concentraciones de policosanol; extraer jugo de caña de azúcar de los tallos de caña de azúcar a través de una serie de molinos de rodillos; filtrar el jugo de caña de azúcar extraído; estabilizar el pH del jugo en una solución no ácida de hidróxido de calcio; flocular el jugo de caña de azúcar para eliminar las impurezas indeseables; opcionalmente, evaporar el jugo de caña de azúcar para formar un concentrado de jugo de caña de azúcar rico en policosanol y extraer el concentrado de jugo de caña de azúcar del evaporador.
