Abstract

Un método y un sistema para la transmisión de calor sustancialmente por medio de conducción dentro de una formación que contiene hidrocarburos, la cual rodea a un pozo de inyección de calor, por medio de la utilización de conductos de suministro de oxidante y conductos de expulsión de gases de combustión dispuestos en el agujero del pozo de inyección de calor, donde un oxidante, tal como aire, es inyectado a través de el conducto de suministro de oxidante a una zona de reacción en la formación, en las cercanías del pozo de inyección de calor, donde al menos una porción de los hidrocarburos en la formación es oxidada de forma tal que se genera calor y se generan gases de combustión, y al menos una porción de los gases de combustión es transmitida a través del conducto de expulsión de gases de combustión, lejos de la zona de reacción, de forma tal que se inhibe la migración de gases de combustión desde la zona de reacción hacia la formación que contiene hidrocarburos.
