Abstract

Una banda compuesta 10 enrollable para formar un caño helicoidal. La banda compuesta 10 comprende una banda de plástico alargada 11 con una porción de base 12 y por lo menos una porción de saliente extendida en sentido longitudinal 20 que se eleva desde la porción de base 12; y una banda alargada de refuerzo 30 extendida en sentido longitudinal que recibe soporte de la porción de saliente 20, teniendo la banda de refuerzo 30 una proporción de altura a grosor de por lo menos tres a uno y estando orientada en sentido sustancialmente perpendicular a la porción de base 12. Al enrollarse para formar un caño helicoidal, la banda de refuerzo 30 aumenta la resistencia del caño a las cargas de aplastamiento radial. Un reborde 40 sella la banda de refuerzo 30 al medio ambiente. Resulta preferido que la banda compuesta 10 comprenda además una lámina plana 50 extendida en sentido longitudinal y unida a la porción de base 12, que tenga módulo de Young y resistencia superiores a los de la banda de plástico 11. La lámina 50 mejora en gran medida el régimen de presión de un caño enrollado de la banda 10.
