Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a nuevas formas cristalinas polimórficas y amorfas del compuesto (E)- 2-{2-[6-(2-cianofenoxi) pirimidin-4-iloxi] fenil}-3- metoxiacrilato (azoxistrobin). Se proporcionan, espectros Raman infrarrojos, patrón de difracción de polvo de rayos X y termograma de Calorimetría Diferencial de Barrido de dos polimorfos "A" y "B". Además, la presente invención tambíen proporciona métodos para preparar las nuevas formas polimórficas "A" y "B", así como procesos para producir mezclas de los polimorfos, y un proceso para preparar azoxistrobin amorfo. Además, la presente invención proporciona composiciones anti fúngicas que comprenden los nuevos polimorfos cristalinos "A" y "B" o azoxistrobin amorfo, los cuales son útiles para controlar y combatir el crecimiento de hongos en cultivos de agricultura y horticultura y agricultura en tierra altas y métodos de uso del mismo como agentes pesticidas para combatir los hongos en cultivos de agricultura y horticultura.
