Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para estabilizar una solución a granel de proteína recombinante para el almacenamiento congelado, que comprende la provisión de una solución parcialmente purificada de la proteína recombinante que tiene una concentración de sal monovalente de al menos 100 mM, y la adición de un carbohidrato a dicha solución en una cantidad suficiente de modo que, después del congelamiento, la solución tiene una temperatura de transición vítrea de -56ºC o mayor.
