Abstract
Un proceso para la propagación de Theobroma cacao L. por embriogénesis somática empleando material explanta el cual está sujeto a : a) embriogénesis primaria en la oscuridad en un medio de cultivo sólido, lo que provoca inducción y expresión para producir embriones primarios;b) embriogénesis secundaria;i) en la que los embriones primarios son tratados en la oscuridad en un medio de cultivo sólido o líquido para producir y multiplicar callos embrionarios, seguido deii) tratamiento de los callos embrionarios en la oscuridad en un medio de cultivo liquido disponible provocando expresión del callo embrionario para producir adicionalmente embriones secundarios.c) Pre-germinación de los embriones secundarios en una caja de Petri en un medio sólido, o en un bioreactor en un medio liquido, en donde los embriones secundarios pre-germinados son llevados al estado cotiledonario.d) Germinación ex-vitro de los embriones secundarios pre-germinados hasta la etapa cotiledonaria por la siembra directa en un sustrato de cultivo en el invernadero para producir la plántulas, ye) Desarrollo de las plántulas.
