Abstract
Se proporciona una composición ectoparasiticida que comprende una mezcla de un vehículo y un activo con un agente emulsionante. El vehículo comprende siloxano no volátil de baja viscosidad y el activo comprende un siloxano no volátil de alta viscosidad. El siloxano de baja viscosidad y el siloxano de alta viscosidad tienen un punto de inflamación en vaso cerrado de al menos 100 ºC. Preferentemente, tanto el siloxano de baja viscosidad como el siloxano de alta viscosidad comprenden una dimeticona o un dimeticonol o una mezcla de los mismos, teniendo el siloxano de baja viscosidad una viscosidad en el intervalo de 5 a 1000 centistokes inclusive y teniendo el siloxano de alta viscosidad una viscosidad de al menos 1000 centistokes.
