Abstract
La presente invención se refiere al campo de tratamiento de diabetes y se refiere a péptidos que presentan actividad para tanto el receptor del péptido insulinotrópico dependiente de la glucosa (GIP-R) como el receptor del péptido-1 similar al glucagón (GLP-1-R) y son selectivos sobre el receptor del glucagón (Gluc-R). Se proporcionan específicamente análogos de GIP con sustituciones de aminoácido introducidas para modular la actividad para tanto GIP-R como GLP-1-R y mantener la selectividad sobre Gluc-R.
