Abstract

Las realizaciones descritas se refieren a una composición, y a un método para administrar el mismo como una alimentación, o para complementar la alimentación de animales acuáticos, particularmente para la acuicultura. Las realizaciones de composición descritas pueden comprender glucano, sílice, arcilla mineral, mananos, yuca, quillaja, un probiótico y/o un agente adhesivo. El agente adhesivo se puede seleccionar particularmente para facilitar la administración a especies acuáticas. En ciertas realizaciones, el agente adhesivo comprende de un aceite, tal como aceite de soja, o un jarabe, tal como melazas, o combinaciones de los mismos. En algunas realizaciones, la composición puede comprender además polifenol, un antimicrobiano y/o una vacuna. También se describe un procedimiento para promover el crecimiento y/o la función inmune en animales acuáticos.
