Abstract

Se da a conocer un método de procesamiento de una suspensión que contiene pirita. El método incluye retirar la pirita de la suspensión que contiene pirita y formar (i) una corriente inerte y (ii) un material que contiene pirita, incluyendo la suspensión que contiene pirita relaves procedentes de un tranque de relaves o una planta de procesamiento de mena. El método también incluye lixiviar un material que contiene sulfuro metálico y el material que contiene pirita con un licor de lixiviación y microbios. También se da a conocer un método de lixiviación de un material que contiene sulfuro metálico.
