Abstract

Se relaciona con el uso de un producto de reacción resorcinol- glutaraldehido como un acelerador para el termofraguado de resinas fenólicas, y con un método para preparar tal acelerador. Además, la invención se relaciona con una mezcla de resinas que comprenden fenolformaldehido y el acelerador, y un proceso para preparar tablas celulósicas, tablas de fibras orientadas, y madera prensada, en la que el ligador para la tabla celulósica, la tabla de fibras orientadas y la madera prensada en su forma no curada, comprende la mezcla de resinas de la invención. En otra realización el acelerador para el termofraguado de la resina comprende resorcinol y glutaraldehido.
