Abstract
La invención se refiere a novedosos derivados de catecol de la fórmula general I en que los radicales de ácidos azometin-carboxilicos, ácidos azobencennocarboxilicos, benzhidrazonas, ácidos aminobenzoicos, aminoácidos o dipétidos, ácidos pirrolidin carboxilicos y/o oxazolidincarboxilicos así como radicales de formilcaboximetiloximas actúan como elementos estructurales y sus conjugados con sustancias activas, particularmente antibióticos. Los compuestos de la presente invención son eficaces como sideróforos en el caso de cepas bacterianas negativas, particularmente pseudomonadáceas, cepas de E, coli, salmonella klebsiella y proteus y en forma de sus conjugados con sustancias activas, por ejemplo antibióticos (como "conjugados de sideróforo") pueden introducir estas en la célula bacteriana y mejorar su eficacia antibacteriana o promoverla en parte también frente a otras cepas de bacterias resistentes a B-lactamas.
