Definitions

  • the invention relates to a winding machine with interacting in pairs, slidable on a slide guide, the pendulum arms each coaxial with the pendulum axis, a drive shaft which is connected to a drive motor, and a receptacle driven by the drive shaft for the winding tube.
  • a known winding machine of this type according to DE-B-1449664 is designed for axleless windings in that the winding tube is clamped directly between the receptacles of a pair of pendulum arms.
  • the band thickness, the winding width and other sizes the winding torque has a very different size. This means that the drive motor must be designed for the greatest winding torque to be expected. This means an excessive effort in terms of motor power, in particular because electric motors become disproportionate and expensive with increasing power.
  • US-A-3603521 describes a winding machine which is intended to wind strips cut out of a web into rolls, the winding tubes for the individual rolls being arranged on a continuous winding shaft.
  • the torque required for winding is transmitted through clutches, in particular electromagnetic clutches, and should be able to be changed. It is envisaged that several clutches can act together on one winding tube, so that the torque transmitted to the winding tube can be changed in accordance with the number of clutches that take effect on a winding tube.
  • the continuous winding shaft and especially its drive must be designed for the maximum value of the total torque to be transmitted.
  • the object of the invention is such a design of the winding machine that the drive torque for each winding tube can be adapted within a wide range to the respective requirements using drive motors of limited average power.
  • the drive shaft of each slide has a receptacle for a motor shaft on both ends for optional equipment with a drive motor.
  • the pendulum arms are prepared to accommodate one, two or no drive motor.
  • a pair of associated swing arms can be equipped with any number of drive motors between one and four drive motors.
  • the drive motors are not of an excessive size, which would require special design measures. Only the drive power for the drive motors actually used is required. This configuration also ensures that the drive motors can be coupled to the hollow drive shaft coaxially to the pendulum axis of the pendulum arms on both sides.
  • the drive shaft is designed as a hollow shaft with internal teeth and that the motor shaft engages with the external teeth in said internal teeth.
  • the invention further provides that in each case a separate carriage receives a drive motor with a motor shaft. This measure facilitates the handling of the drive motors.
  • the slide guide has an extension rail which extends beyond the working width of the machine and on which the unused motor slides can be placed. Even the pendulum arms that are not required in individual cases can be parked on this extension rail of the working width of the machine.
  • FIG. 1 shows a machine frame 1 with a slide guide 2.
  • a contact roller 3 is arranged parallel to the slide guide and the respective strip is fed from a cutting station (not shown).
  • On the slide guide pairs of individual slides 4, 5 can be moved and locked, each carrying a pendulum arm 6.
  • At the end of the pendulum arms 6 there are receptacles 7 for a winding tube with a winding 8. The winding tube is held without an axis between the receptacles 7.
  • the pendulum arms 6 are coupled to one another by a cross member 9 so that they can be pivoted synchronously with one another.
  • the pivoting and setting of the contact pressure is carried out by means of a printing unit 10.
  • Each pendulum arm 6 is pivotally mounted on a hollow pin 11 of the individual slide 5.
  • a hollow drive shaft 12 with internal teeth 13 is mounted within the hollow pin 11.
  • the drive hollow shaft 12 carries a drive wheel 14 for a drive belt 15, which in turn drives a shaft of the receptacle 7.
  • the drive shaft 12, as can be clearly seen from FIG. 2, is open at both ends.
  • Drive motor 17 On separate carriages 16 there is one Drive motor 17 added, which has a drive shaft 18 with an external toothing 19.
  • the motor shaft 18 is aligned coaxially with the hollow drive shaft 12.
  • a motor shaft 18 can be inserted into the drive hollow shaft 12 from both sides, as can be clearly seen from FIG. 2.
  • FIGS. 3 to 5 only one drive motor according to FIG. 3 can be provided for a tape that has to be wound with a very low winding tension. 2 you can also provide two drive motors, one drive motor for each pendulum arm. 5, each pendulum arm can also be equipped with a second motor, so that the number of drive motors can be varied from 1 to 4. The slides are not shown in the schematic representations of FIGS. 3 to 5.
  • the invention further provides an extension rail 20 for the carriage guide 2, which connects to the carriage guide 2 outside the working width of the machine. Individual slides 4, 5 with pendulum arms or additional slides for drive motors can then be placed on this extension rail 20 if the latter are not required.
  • This extension rail 20 can thus be used as a parking rail. The parked sleds are ready for use at any time and can be pushed into the working area of the machine on the slide guide and adjusted accordingly.
