Claims (5)

1. Procédé de production d'un textile non tissé soudé comprenant des fibres thermoplastiques, qui comporte:
(a) la superposition d'une nappe comprenant au moins 5% de fibres thermoplastiques sur une première courroie porteuse sans fin;
(b) la superposition d'une seconde courroie porteuse sur ladite nappe pour former un lamifié de deux courroies, avec ladite nappe prise en sandwich entre la première et la deuxième courroies porteuses sans fin;
(c) la mise en circulation du lamifié des deux courroies sur un trajet conduisant successivement autour d'un premier et d'un second cylindres chauffés, qui sont désaxés l'un par rapport à l'autre et écartés d'une distance suffisante pour éviter un pincement par compression entre lesdits premier et second cylindres, les surfaces périphériques desdits premier et second cylindres chauffés coopérant pour délimiter une portion dudit trajet où passe le lamifié des deux courroies, sans contact avec lesdits premier et second cylindres chauffés de façon à apporter de la chaleur, au début à une première face de ladite nappe, quand ledit lamifié de deux courroies passe autour du premier cylindre chauffé et de façon à souder ainsi les fibres thermoplastiques aux fibres adjacentes de cette face, puis de façon à apporter de la chaleur à la deuxième face de ladite nappe, quand ledit lamifié de deux courroies passe autour du deuxième cylindre chauffé et de façon à souder ainsi les fibres thermoplastiques aux fibres adjacentes de sa deuxième face; et
(d) le refroidissement du lamifié des deux courroies après son passage autour du premier et du deuxième cylindres chauffés, de manière à refroidir les fibres de la nappe prise en sandwich entre la première et la deuxième courroie porteuse sans fin.
2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel les fibres thermoplastiques sont des fibres complexes.
3. Procédé selon la revendication 2, dans lequel les fibres complexes sont des fibres gaine/coeur en polyéthylène/polyester.
4. Appareil de production d'un textile non tissé soudé comprenant des fibres thermoplastiques, cet appareil comportant:
(a) un châssis;
(b) un premier et second cylindres montés sur le cadre de manière à pouvoir tourner, désaxés l'un par rapport à l'autre, lesdits cylindres étant suffisamment écartés pour éviter un pincement de compression entre lesdits premier et second cylindres;
(c) une première courroie porteuse sans fin, montée sur ledit châssis, pour circuler sur un trajet passant consécutivement autour desdits premier et second cylindres chauffés;
(d) une seconde courroie porteuse sans fin, montée sur ledit châssis pour circuler le long dudit trajet autour desdits premier et second cylindres chauffés, de manière adjacente à ladite première courroie;
(e) des moyens pour superposer une nappe de fibres sur ladite première courroie de sorte que lesdites première et seconde courroies forment un lamifié avec la nappe prise en sandwich entre elles, ledit chemin étant tel que pendant le fonctionnement, le lamifié constitué de deux courroies circule sur ledit trajet, successivement autour dudit premier cylindre chauffé pour chauffer d'abord une première face de la nappe et ensuite autour dudit second cylindre chauffé pour chauffer la seconde face de ladite nappe;
(f) les surfaces périphériques desdits premier et second cylindres chauffés coopèrent pour délimiter une portion dudit trajet dans lequel le lamifié constitué de deux courroies circule sans contact avec lesdits premier et second cylindres chauffés; et
(g) des moyens de refroidir ledit lamifié constitué des deux courroies, après qu'il soit passé autour desdits premier et second cylindres chauffés pour refroidir les fibres de la nappe prise en sandwich entre la première et la deuxième courroies porteuses sans fin.
5. Appareil selon la revendication 4, dans lequel lesdits moyens de refroidissement comprennent au moins un cylindre refroidi.
