- the air generator can constitute a fixed station, permanently located without having to be moved. It can thus be installed on the edge of a ski slope, a path, a road or in a room. It includes a fan and an energy source (autonomous thermal engine or electric motor) delivering its power to the fan.
- the air generator can also constitute a mobile station independently of the vehicle carrying the sampling and production organs; the engine is then of the thermal type.
- This mobile station can be carried on the platform of a caterpillar or a road vehicle or simply carried by a sledge which will be towed by means of an annexed machine for installation.
