Definitions

  • the invention relates to a catch plate of a loader bucket intended for a motor vehicle with an upwardly and forwardly extending rear wall which merges into an upper horizontal transverse edge.
  • Bucket loaders are known, the loader buckets of which are provided with a catch plate which extends upwards and forwards from the upper edge of the bucket rear wall. To a certain extent, the catch plate serves as a continuation of the rear wall. Most of the ends of the catch plate are somewhat reduced in height, so that when the loader shovel is completely filled, the end regions allow the material to overflow. This enables the driver of the shovel loader to observe the fill level of the shovel. It is also known to reinforce the upper edge of a loader bucket so as to increase the lateral rigidity of the loader bucket in this area.
  • the invention has for its object to design the catch plate explained in the introduction so that, in addition to its usual function, it also serves to stiffen the loader bucket in its upper edge region.
  • the new catch plate is thus designed as a box-shaped channel which interacts with the upper edge area of the loader bucket and brings about a substantial increase in rigidity in this area.
  • the loader shovel shown consists of two upright side walls 10, 11, between which a bottom 12 and a rear wall 13 extend. The latter protrudes upwards and forwards and ends in an upper horizontal transverse edge 14.
  • a cross-cutting edge 15 Attached to the floor 12 and forming part of the floor is a cross-cutting edge 15 which extends over the entire end face of the loader bucket.
  • the side walls 10, 11 merge forward into vertical cutting plates 16, 17 which have sharpened end edges for penetrating into the earth or into material to be charged.
  • Two pairs of retaining ribs 20, 21 are attached to the rear of the loader shovel and carry upper and lower eyes 22, 23, 24, 25, which protrude outwards, are aligned with corresponding openings in the retaining ribs 20, 21 and support them together with these openings form to accommodate not shown Trunnions that connect to loader arms, also not shown.
  • Sheet-like struts 26, 27 extend from the rear of the bucket rear wall 13 and serve to stiffen the retaining ribs 20, 21 in the lower region of the loader bucket.
  • the catch plate consists largely of a single main plate construction 30 with a rear lower vertical section 31 which extends over the full width of the loader bucket.
  • the lower edge 32 of this vertical section 31 lies against the back of the blade rear wall 13 and is welded to it.
  • FIGS. 3 and 4 clearly show that the said edge 32 lies backwards and below the transverse edge 14 mentioned above.
  • the vertical section 31 extends upward from its lower edge 32 to connecting seams 33, 34, 35 with a U-shaped middle section 36 and two end sections 37, 38 which extend outward from the opposite ends of the middle section 36.
  • FIGS. 1, 3 and 4 show that the connecting seams 33 to 35 are located approximately at the height of the said transverse edge 14 of the blade rear wall 13.
  • the middle section 36 extends across most of the blade width and has a rear wall 40 which, starting from the connecting seam 33, extends upwards and forwards to a horizontal upper circular web 41, from which the middle section 36 extends downwards and has rear-extending front wall 42, which ends in a lower horizontal edge 43 on the back of said transverse edge 14 of blade rear wall 13, but approximately in the area of this transverse edge 14.
  • Figure 4 shows that the upper horizontal transverse edge 14 is welded against the front of the front wall 42 of the central section 36.
  • the front wall 42 lies essentially in the plane of the blade rear wall 13 and extends as a kind of continuation of this wall upwards and forwards.
  • the end sections 37, 38 consist of horizontal sections, which differ from the corresponding connecting seams 34, 35 with the Extend vertical section 31 forward.
  • the front edges of the end sections 37, 38 end at the rear of the blade rear wall 13 in the region of its upper transverse edge 14 and are welded to this rear side, as best shown in FIG. 3.
  • the outer edges of the two end sections 37, 38, like the rear upright wall of the vertical section 31, are welded to the side walls 10, 11.
  • the ends of the middle section 36 are inclined upwards and inwards and, due to the shape of their filler plates 45, 46, are each closed off to the surface of the adjoining end sections 37, 38.
  • the filler plates 45, 46 extend into an area below the end sections 37, 38 and are welded against the vertical surfaces of the vertical section 31.
  • the outer edges of the filler plates 45, 46 are welded against the inner wall of the middle section 36 and thereby reinforce the middle section and prevent its deformation.
  • the middle section 36 with the upper part of the blade rear wall 13 forms a channel-shaped construction which gives the middle section a high rigidity and the deformation of which is prevented by the filler plates 45, 46.
  • the end sections 37, 38, together with the vertical section 31, form an angular iron carrier which stiffens the end sections of the blade rear wall 13.
  • the trough-shaped construction thus extends over the full width of the blade along the upper portion of the blade rear wall 13. This increases the strength of the blade significantly.
  • a pair of chain connecting plates 48, 49 or lifting plates are welded against the rear of the rear wall 40 and against the rear edges of the vertical holding ribs 20, 21.
  • the plates 48, 49 mentioned have openings in their centers and a groove in the edge, which is used to hold and fix halves. serve chains that can be used to carry or pull out products by using the lifting arms of a loader.
  • main sheet metal structure 30 functions as a stiffener, it still adequately functions as a catch sheet, the opposite ends of which are set slightly downward, so that an operator can recognize any filling material falling out over the lower edge.
