Abstract

Le sytème de programmation, de mémorisation et de production de sons synthétiques comporte, en plus de réglages couramment utilisés, notamment sur les guitares électriques, une mémoire vive (3), deux blocs de mixage (4, 5), une mémoire morte (6), une seconde mémoire vive (7) et deux synthétiseurs (8, 9).

Description

Système de programmation, de mémorisation et de production de sons synthétiques adapté- notamment à la guitare électrique et autres instruments électriques à cordes.
Le système selon l'invention concerne le programmation, la mémorisation et la production de sons synthétiques adaptés aux instruments de musique électriques à cordes et notamment aux guitares électriques (cordes pincées) et par exemple aux violons (cordes frottées) . On ne connaît pas actuellement sur le marché de guitares ou autres instruments électriques à cordes comportant un système de programmation, de mémorisation lié à la production de sons synthétisés. Des essais ont été effectués dans le passé, mais n'ont pas aboutis, la technologie de l'époque était insuffis- santé pour produire les sons actuellement recherchés par les musiciens, elle faisait appel à un matériel très encombrant qui rendait les guitares difficilement maniables notamment su scène et en studio.
Le système selon l'invention, tel qu'il est décrit dans les revendications, adapte à la guitare électrique et aux instru- ents de musique électrique à cordes, la programmation, la mémorisation et la production de sons synthétiques sous un faible encombrerαent. En plus des contrôles habituels déjà couramment utilisés notamment sur les guitares électriques, elle est équipée de mémoires, d'au moins un synthétiseur, de moyens de mixage des sons et de moyens de programmation.
Les avantages apportés par la présente invention sont les suivants:
- possibilité de stocker en mémoire un certain nombre de sono rités parmi les différents timbres que produisent normalement' les cordes de l'instrument; - possibilité de stocker dans une autre mémoire les sons produits par au moins un synthétiseur incorporé;
- possibilité d'extraire à volonté les sons choisis dans l'une ou l'autre des mémoires en les programmant sur un pupitre de commande, - possibilité d'adjoindre des mémoires additionnelles; - possibilité de nomenclature.: des codes numériques représentant des sons sélectionnés produits par le synthétiseur sur un fichier papier pour éviter d'alourdir les instruments dans le cas ou ils sont portés comme par exemple la guitare électrique qui doit rester légère.
L'invention est décrite plus en détail dans le texte qui suit en référence aux dessins annexés dans lesquels: — la figure 1 montre un exemple de schéma synoptique d'un système de programmation, de mémorisation et de production de sons synthétisés selon l'invention.
Tel qu'il est représenté sur la figure 1 , le système selon l'invention comporte au moins un capteur magnétique .(micro¬ phone) 1 , un bloc électronique de réglage 2 comprenant:
- un contrôle de volume du son
- un contrôle de tonalité - un sélecteur de microphone
- un sélecteur de timbres, une mémoire vive 3, deux blocs de mixage de sons 4,5, une mémoire morte 6, une mémoire vive 7, un premier synthétiseur de sons 8 et éventuellement un second synthétiseur 9 différent du premier, raccordés sur les mémoires 6,7, un pupitre de commande (non représenté) et une source d'énergie électrique .
Le système fonctionne, de la façon suivante:
On met sous tension, on sélectionne sur le pupitre de program- mation au moins une sonorité parmi les différents timbres ty¬ piques que produit habituellement l'instrument, on combine éventuellement cette sonorité avec un ou plusieurs autres sons produits par le synthétiseur. Les mémoires vives 3 et 7 permettent de stocker les timbres et sons sélectionnés . Chaque sonorité est mise en mémoire accompagnée d'un adressage correspondant enregistré numérique¬ ment sur la mémoire morte et que ce même code numérique permet d'extraire au moment voulu.
^JR ^ r OMPI On peut mettre la mémoire 7 hors circuit e r utiliser le synthétiseur en direct. Lorsque l'on utilise d u synthétiseur 8,9, ils sont préférablement différents l'un de l'autre pour accroître l'étendue de la gamme de sons synthétisables de façon à permettre de combiner n'importe quels sons de chacun des deux synthétiseurs.
La mémoire 6 permet de programmer l'instrument, elle est prév pour extraire à partir d'un code numérique affiché mécanique- ment, par exemple au moyen d'une roue codeuse, ou électroni¬ quement à partir d'un clavier, le son direct des cordes pour le combiner avec le son d'un ou de plusieurs autres instrument pour produire une musique polyphonique. La Possibilité de reproduction des combinaisons musicales retenues est donc fonction de leur mémorisation, de la capacit des mémoires qui peut être étendue par adjonction de mémoires additionnelles, ou par enregistrement des codes au-delà de la capacité des mémoires, sur un fichier papier ou sur les morcea de musique à l'endroit approprié. Les divers blocs électroniques et mémoires utilisées sont bien connus de l'homme de l'art et par conséquent n'ont pas été décrits, le schéma synoptique étant suffisant pour définir clairement le système. La figure 2 montre une extension des possibilités combinatoire polyphoniques sur les instruments de musique électronique à cordes pincées ou frottées. Aux parties 1 et 2 représentant respectivement la mémorisation des tonalités de cordes et des synthétiseurs, on a ajouté une troisième partie comportant une mémoire vive 10 et une mémoire morte 11, un générateur électro nique de percussions (boîte à rythmes) et un séquenceur électronique 14. ainsi qu'un moyen d'enregistrement et de lecture 12. Ce moyen 12 et le séquenceur 14 sont soit incorpo¬ rés, soit préférablement extérieurs pour réduire le poids. Le moyen d'enregistrement et de lecture permet d'élargir considérablement la gamme de sons utilisables par les mémoires vives, par exemple des accords d'autres instruments de musi¬ que à cordes ou non, quant au séquenceur, il permet la répéti¬ tions d'accords divers pendant que le musicien joue normale¬ ment sur son instrument.
Si l'on choisit une capacité suffisante pour la mémoire 6, on peut l'utiliser à la place de la mémoire additionnelle 11 pour réduire le poids ajouté aux instruments portés.

Claims

R E V E N D I C A T I O N S
1 - Système de programmation, de mémorisation et de production de sons synthétiques adapté notamment à la guitare et aux au- très instruments à cordes, comprenant au moins un microphone (1), un bloc électronique de réglage et de contrôle du volume du son, de sa tonalité, de sélection des microphones et de sélection des timbres, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte en outre une mémoire vive (3) deux blocs de mixage (4,5), une mémoire morte (6), une second mémoire vive (7) coopérant avec au moins un synthétiseur (8,9) un pupitre de commande.
2 - Système selon 1, caractérisé en ce que le synthétiseur peut être connecté en direct avec le bloc de mixage des sons.
3 - Système selon 1 , caractérisé en ce que la mémoire morte est programmable pour combiner le son direct des cordes de l'instrument électrique avec le son d'un ou de plusieurs' au- très instruments à corde ou autres pour produire une musique polyphonique.
4 - Système selon 1, caractérisé en ce que l'on ajoute une troisième partie comportant une mémoire (10) permettant de stocker les sons de tout ou partie des instruments à cordes ou autres éventuellement dans une mémoire.(11) , un moyen (12) pour introduire les sons à stocker dans la mémoire (10) , un générateur électronique de percussion (13) et un séquenceur (14), et en ce que le moyen (12) d'introduction des sons, le générateur de percussions (13) et le séquenceur peuvent être extérieurs à l'instrument.
