Abstract

Zur Verkleidung einer Badewanne wird eine Wannenschürze (3) aus Kunststoffschaum am Wannen-Rand (5) eingehängt und insbesondere mittels Montageschaum, der nach dem Einbringen in die Ausnehmungen (9, 11) über stirnseitige Öffnungen herausquillt, an den angrenzenden Bauteilen (1,20) befestigt.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Wannenschürze aus Kunststoffschaum.
  • Wenn eine Badewanne oder eine Duschtasse in ein Bauwerk eingebaut wird, so ist es im allgemeinen üblich, die vom Badezimmer aus sichtbaren Seiten aus ästetischen und hygienischen Gründen mit einer Schürze zu verkleiden.
  • Bekannt ist eine Schürze, die aus einzelnen Styropor-Körpern mauerwerksmäßig aufgebaut ist.
  • Der Nachteil dieser Konstruktion besteht darin, daß neben hohem Arbeitsaufwand großes handwerkliches Können erforderlich ist, denn die Außenfläche der Schürze muß für die übliche Fliesung völlig plan sein.
  • Weiter gibt es Schürzen aus Kunststoffschaum, die an einem Metall-Gerüst befestigt sind.
  • Bei diesen Schürzen werden die Beanspruchungen der Schaumstoffplatten über das Gerüst in den Boden eingeleitet, wodurch infolge der unterschiedlichen Ausdehnungskoeffizienten von Stahl und Kunststoff zusätzlich Wärmespannungen entstehen. Auch besteht, insbesondere, wenn die Teile nicht sorgfältig behandelt wurden, Rostgefahr bei den Stahlteilen. Gleichzeitig leiten die Metallteile den Schall und die Wärme weiter, was unerwünscht ist. Hinzu kommt, daß ein Stahl-Gerüst sehr teuer ist und schwieriger bei abweichende Abmessungen anzupassen ist. .
  • Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine maßlich anpaßbare, schnell einbaubare Schürze zu finden, die neben ausreichende Steifigkeit eine gute Dämmung gegen Schall und Wärme bietet sowie eine plane Unterlage für die vor oder nach dem Einbau aufgebrachte Wandbekleidung (zum Beispiel Fliesen) bildet.
  • Die Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß mindestens auf einer sichtbaren Seite als Wannenschürze ein flächiges Gebilde über Verbindungen direkt mit der Unterseite des Wannenrandes und mit dem Boden des Bauwerkes verbunden ist.
  • Es ist erstaunlich, daß die durch die engen Raumverhältnisse bedingte geringe Stärke des flächigen Gebildes aus Kunststoffschaum eine ausreichende Steifigkeit sogar bei seitlich angreifenden Kräften (z.B. Kniedruck) besitzt, daß auch empfindliche Beläge - wie beispielsweise Fliesen - nicht abplatzen. Durch das flächige Gebilde, welches aus einer ebenen Platte aus PUR- oder Polystyrol-Schaum bestehen kann, wird eine gute Dämmung hinsichtlich Körperschall und Wärmefluß erreicht. Ein weiterer Vorteil besteht darin, daß die im allgemeinen über eine ganze Seite sich erstreckende Platte mit einem einfachen Messer auf das jeweils erforderliche Maß geschnitten und mit wenigen Handgriffen eingebaut werden kann. Auch ist es möglich, die außenliegende Oberfläche der Platte mit Markierungen zur Erleichterung eines exakten Anklebens der Fliesen oder werkseitig mit endgültigem Belag (z.B. einer Folie) zu versehen.
  • In einer besonderen Ausführungsform ist das flächige Gebilde am Rand mit einem Ansatz versehen.
  • Flächige Gebilde, die am oberen Rand als Ansatz beispielsweise einen Schenkel besitzen, können bei Wannen mit nach innen abgewinkelten Rand durch Schräglage beim Einführen einfach eingehängt und dann durch Drehen in die endgültige Lage gebracht werden. Um ein Herausrutschen zu vermeiden, ist es möglich auch auf der späteren Innenseite der Schürze als Ansätze einzelne Nasen vorzusehen, die sich beim Drehen an der Außenseite der Wannewand festklemmen. Um ein Einschneiden bzw. Abbrechen zu vermeiden, kann der Ansatz noch mit einer Verstärkung (Schutzfolie) versehen werden.
  • In einer anderen Ausführungsform ist der Ansatz federnd ausgebildet.
  • Eine als federnden Ansatz ausgebildete Zunge am Rande der Platte bietet den Vorteil, daß das Ausrichten erleichtert und ein Ausgleich von abweichenden Baumaßen ermöglicht wird.
  • In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform ist das flächige Gebilde mit Verstärkungen versehen.
  • Verstärkungen sind durch Ausbildung von Rippen möglich. Denkbar ist aber auch die Auflage oder der Einbau eines Gewebes. Schließlich können auch Kunststoff- bzw. Me-tallteile in langgestreckter Form oder an einzelnen Punkten eingebaut werden. Durch alle Verstärkungen ist die Festigkeit des flächigen Gebildes zu verbessern.
  • In einer weiteren Ausführungsform sind für die Verbindungen mindestens zur Stirnseite des flächigen Gebildes offene Ausnehmungen angeordnet.
  • Durch diese Ausnehmungen, die die eigentliche Befestigung (Verbindung) aufnehmen, ist es möglich, einerseits die Schürze im übrigen Bereich bis an die angrenzenden Bauteile heranzuführen und andererseits die Verbindungen bündig mit der Außenseite der Wannenschürze zwecks besserer Anbringung des Belages abschließen zu lassen.
  • In einer möglichen Ausführungsform bestehen die Ausnehmungen aus einem durchgehenden Nut entlang des Randes des flächigen Gebildes.
  • Durch diesen Nut, der zum besseren Einführen bzw. Halten der Verbindung einhüftig stärker ausgeführt sein kann, wird das flächige Gebilde über die ganze Länge fixiert, was besonders im Fußbereich (am Boden) empfehlenswert ist.
  • In einer speziellen Ausführungsform bestehen die Ausnehmungen aus einzelnen offenen Hohlkammern mit überlauf.
  • In diese Hohlkammer kann durch seitlich Durchstechen der Wand mit einer Düse ein aushärtendes Quellmittel eingeführt werden, welches dann durch Ausschäumen an der Stirnseite eine Verbindung zum Gegenstück herstellt, wobei durch einen überlauf nach der Auffüllung der Hohlkammer das Restmaterial seitlich abfließen kann und evtl. für eine zusätzliche seitliche Befestigung sorgt.
  • In einer verbesserten Ausführungsform besteht die Verbindung aus Kunststoffschaum.
  • Für das Befestigen hat sich besonders ein Kunststoffschaum aus Polyurethan bewährt, wie er beispielsweise als Montageschaum mit einer Härtezeit von 10 bis 20. min. bekannt ist.
  • In einer Ausführungsform besteht die Verbindung aus mechanisch fixierbaren Elementen.
  • Es ist auch denkbar eine einwandfreie Befestigung durch Keile, höhenverstellbare Schrauben oder Exzenterscheiben zu erreichen.
  • Beispiele der Erfindung sind in den Zeichnungen dargestellt und werden im folgenden näher beschrieben. Es zeigen:

  • In Fig. 1 ist eine Badewanne 1 auf Füßen 2 dargestellt, bei der als Wannenschürze 3 einflächiges Gebilde 4 in Form einer Platte mit oberen, hinter dem dreimal abgebogenen Wannen-Rand 5 geklemmten Ansatz 6, der als Schenkel rechtwinklig zur Platte 4 angeordnet ist. Die obere Verbindung 7 zwischen Badewanne 1 und Platte.4 erfolgt durch einen Kunststoffschaum, der über den Einstich 8 in die als kurze Ausnehmung ausgebildete zur Stirnseite offene Hohlkammer 9 mit überlauf 10 nach dem Ausschäumen bis zum Wannen-Rand 5 vorgedrungen ist. Unten ermöglicht als Ausnehmung ein durchgehender Nut 11 entlang der Stirnseite 12 der Platte 4 die Fixierung über einen PUR Kunststoffschaum als Verbindung 7 die Festlegung der Wannenschürze 3 gegen den Boden 20 auf ganzer Länge.
  • In Fig. 2 ist eine Badewanne 1 auf Fuß 2 mit einer Wannenschürze 3 aus flächigem Gebilde 4 versehen, welches einen Untertritt 13 und als Verstärkung einzelne Versteifungsrippen 14 besitzt. Die obere Verbindung 7 besteht aus einer höhenverstellbaren Schraube 15 mit oberen Saugnapf 16 in einer Ausnehmung 17. Die untere Verbindung 7 besteht aus Keilen 18, die durch seitlich durchgehenden Ausnehmungen 19 geschoben sind.
  • Selbstverständlich gilt die erfindungsgemäße Konstruktion auch für Duschtassen oder andere einzukleidende Bauteile (Schächte), wobei die flächigen Gebilde im Stoßbereich auch untereinander verbunden werden können.

Claims (9)

1. Wannenschürze aus Kunststoffschaum, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mindestens auf einer sichtbaren Seite als Wannenschürze (3) ein flächiges Gebilde (4) über Verbindungen (7) direkt mit der Unterseite des Wannenrandes (5) und mit dem Boden (20) des Bauwerkes verbunden ist.
2. Wannenschürze nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das flächige Gebilde (4) am Rand mit einem Ansatz (6) versehen ist.
3. Wannenschürze nach Anspruch 1-2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Ansatz (6) federnd ausgebildet ist.
4. Wannenschürze nach Anspruch 1-3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das flächige Gebilde (4) mit Verstärkungen (14) versehen ist.
5. Wannenschürze nach Anspruch 1-4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß für die Verbindung (7) mindestens zur Stirnseite (12) des flächigen Gebildes (4) offene Ausnehmungen (9,11) angeordnet sind.
6. Wannenschürze nach Anspruch 1-5, dadurchgekennzeichnet, daß die Ausnehmung aus einem durchgehenden Nut (11) entlang des Randes des flächigen Gebildes (4) besteht.
7. Wannenschürze nach Anspruch 1-6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausnehmungen aus einzelnen, offenen Hohlkammern (9) mit überlauf (10) bestehen.
8. Wannenschürze nach Anspruch 1-6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindungen (7) aus Kunststoffschaum besteht.
9. Wannenschürze nach Anspruch 1-6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verbindung aus mechanisch fixierbaren Elementen (18) besteht.
