Definitions

  • the invention relates to a support system for bathtubs or shower trays, which are provided with a peripheral rim in particular, with at least one mounting rail which can be fastened on the wall and support members which can be provided between the tub and the floor.
  • This object is achieved according to the invention essentially in that the surfaces of the wall and / or the mounting rail facing the tub edge are covered at least in regions with a sound decoupling layer, that the support members have at least one sound-decoupling insulating element, and that a sound-decoupling profile element is provided, which between the tub rim and the area facing it, a support wall that can be erected below the tub rim can be positioned.
  • the principle according to the invention is that sound decoupling is provided consistently at all those points at which the trough is connected to the structure or is supported on an element connected to the structure. Since the tubs are supported on the one hand via their tub edge on support rails connected to the structure or support walls erected in front of the tub and on the other hand because of the tub floor on floating screeds or raw ceilings, sound-decoupling materials are provided according to the invention at these locations between the tub and the element supporting it .
  • This consistent sound decoupling means that, when using a carrier system according to the invention, it is possible, for example, to dispense with acoustically decoupling support walls or load-bearing drywall walls or the floor area located under the tub from the rest of the structure. Since the sound decoupling of retaining walls, load-bearing drywall or floor areas represents a considerable outlay in comparison to the attachment of the carrier system according to the invention, the invention creates a system which is very economical and easy to handle compared to the prior art, with which, in addition, a system compared to the prior art Technology improved sound decoupling of the tub from the building is achievable.
  • the sound level of bathtubs and shower trays which are held by a carrier system according to the invention is less than 30 dB (A) for a diagonal measurement, while for systems according to the prior art sound levels above 40 dB (A) are measured.
  • the carrier system according to the invention can be used for all commercially available bathtubs and shower trays of any shape, these shower trays being made of steel, cast iron or plastic.

Description

  • Fig. 1b zeigt eine Schnittdarstellung entlang der Schnittlinie A-A gemäß Fig. 1a.
  • Fig. 4 zeigt mögliche Ausbildungsformen der Schallentkopplungsschicht 18 gemäß Fig. 3.
