Definitions

  • the invention relates to pressure jaws or shells for a device for mechanical disassembly of rock with a cylinder in which a hydraulically actuated piston with a piston rod is arranged to be longitudinally movable, by means of which a sliding wedge arranged between the pressure jaws is displaceable, the pressure jaws which can be inserted into boreholes are interchangeably mounted in the cylinder block or in a cylinder lower part which is detachably arranged thereon and can be moved laterally to a limited extent, and on their sides facing the sliding wedge each have a slope corresponding to the inclination of the sliding wedge.
  • Stone splitting devices of the type mentioned are generally known (DE-AS-1 254 562; DE-PS-1 783 155). Forces of the order of magnitude of 300 t and more can be generated with such relatively handy devices. The use of explosives is no longer necessary to remove rocks or break them up.
  • the present invention has for its object to provide pressure jaws or shells for a device of the type mentioned, which can be used even with relative displacements of the rock in the direction of the row of holes, so that manually driven riving knife can be dispensed with.
  • This mechanism must be designed in such a way that the pressure jaws do not have to be rotated when fixing them to the cylinder or cylinder lower part, or at least can be pivoted away from the sliding wedge to such an extent that the pressure jaws can be rotated by up to 90 °.
  • An advantageous embodiment of a stone splitting device is described below, which is particularly suitable for the use of the pressure jaws designed according to the invention.
  • the sliding wedge is spade or hammer-shaped in accordance with the pressure jaws.
  • the slide wedge preferably has a width corresponding to the width of the insert section of the pressure jaws over its entire length protruding from the cylinder or lower cylinder part in the retracted or retracted state.
  • the width of the pressure jaws in the lower area of application corresponds to at least approximately twice the borehole diameter.
  • the width of the pressure jaws in this region is preferably approximately three times the borehole diameter.
  • the measures according to claim 5 serve to further increase the stability of the "pressure jaw / sliding wedge" unit.
  • Lower part 2 is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner.
  • a guide sleeve 5 made of wear-resistant bearing material is arranged at the free lower end of the piston rod 3. The bearing sleeve 5 is locked at the free lower end of the piston rod 3 by means of a retaining pin 31 and a helical spring 6.
  • a sliding wedge 18 is fastened by means of a retaining bolt 4 which penetrates both it and the piston rod 3.
  • the sliding wedge 18 acts on pressure jaws or shells 17 which can be inserted into boreholes, can be moved laterally to a limited extent and are releasably connected to the lower cylinder part 2 by means of reinforced head pieces 32 and which have an inclination corresponding to the inclination of the sliding wedge.
  • the pressure jaws 17 are suspended on cross bolts 10 arranged diametrically in the lower cylinder part 2 and are elastically fixed and centered with spring elements 13, 24.
  • the laterally limited displaceability of the pressure jaws 17 is achieved in that they are slidably mounted on the cross pin 10, namely on the inner portions 20 of the cross pin 10, which in the embodiment shown have a slightly smaller diameter than the outer portions 21, the serve as a thread and bearing part.
  • the transverse bolts 10 are arranged so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the bolt between an outer pressure jaw release position (bottom in FIG. 1) and an inner pressure jaw suspension position (FIG. 1 top) in such a way that in the former the pressure jaws 17 downward - to the right in FIG. 1 - Can be pulled out of the cylinder base 2 without rotation about its longitudinal axes or lateral pivoting and vice versa.
  • the stone splitting device described is suitable, inter alia, for the use of approximately spade-shaped pressure jaws, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.
  • the sliding wedge 18 is formed like a spade in accordance with the pressure jaws 17, the width corresponding approximately to the width of the lower insert area 34 of the pressure jaws 17.
  • the sliding wedge is also spade-shaped. As a rule, you will even use a normal, relatively narrow sliding wedge that is adapted to the width of the pressure jaws normally used.
  • the two opposite sliding surfaces of the sliding wedge 18 each have an axially extending spring 35 and the associated sliding or inclined surfaces of the pressure jaws 17 have corresponding grooves 36. In this way, a relative lateral displacement of the between the pressure jaws 17 and the sliding wedge 18 is reliably avoided during use.
  • the borehole with the reference number 38 and the adjoining gap which is obtained when conventional pressure jaws inserted into the borehole 38 are spread or moved apart, are identified by the reference number 37.
  • the stone splitting device can be used without further ado thanks to the pressure jaws designed according to the invention.
  • the outer sides of the pressure jaws are preferably roughened, ribbed or knurled in the lower insert area 34 in order to prevent them sliding sideways within the gap 37.
  • the width of the pressure jaws 17 in the lower area of use 34 corresponds to at least approximately twice the borehole diameter.
  • the handling in particular the insertion of the pressure jaws 17 into the gap 37, can be facilitated by the fact that the outer sides of the pressure jaws 17 facing away from one another in the assembled state are slightly convex in section transversely to the axial direction.
  • the lower area of use 34 of the pressure jaws 17 can also be hammer-shaped or sickle-shaped. This essentially depends on the depth of use and the rock to be broken. However, the most stable and effective is a spade-shaped shape of the pressure jaws.
