Claims (8)

1. Verfahren zum Oxidieren eines Farbstoffs für Textilmaterialien oder Fasern, die mit einem Schwefelfarbstoff oder einem Küpenfarbstoff gefärbt sind, mit Hilfe einer Lösung von Wasserstoffperoxid in Gegenwart eines salzartigen Vanadats, bei einem pH-Wert zwischen 3 und 6 und einer Temperatur zwischen 20 und 95 °C, wobei die Anteile des Wasserstoffperoxids und des salzartigen Vanadats zwischen 0,1 und 30 g bzw. 0,05 und 0,5 g pro des Bades liegen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Oxidation in gleichzeitiger Gegenwart eines Metallsalzes durchgeführt wird, das aus den Salzen des Kupfers, des Eisens, des Nickels, des Cobalts und des Mangans ausgewählt worden ist, wobei die Menge dieses Salzes zwischen 0,01 und 1 g pro I des Oxidationsbades beträgt.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das genannte Metallsalz ein Kupfersalz ist.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Vanadat aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, welche die Alkalimetallvanadate und Ammoniumvanadat umfasst.
4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Menge des Metallsalzes zwischen 0,05 und 0,1 g/I beträgt.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mengen des Vanadats zwischen 0,1 und 0,2 g/I betragen.
6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Menge des Wasserstoffperoxids zwischen 1 und 5 g/I beträgt.
7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Oxidation bei einer Temperatur zwischen 40 und 60 °C durchgeführt wird.
8. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Farbstoff Schwefelrot N° 10 (Color Index N° 53 228) ist.
