If, when the tree breaks (or any other equivalent accident), the base of the curtain has reached a height greater than the fraction of total door opening height defined above - corresponding to the balancing of part of the weight of the curtain by the counterweight - the curtain then lowers with decreasing speed until it reaches this predetermined height. If, on the contrary, the curtain has not reached this height, it rises with decreasing speed until it reaches it.
