Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Bet­ reiben eines Nachwärmofens für Brammen, Blöcke od. dgl. mit einer Förderung des Wärmgutes durch den mit Heißgasen betriebenen Ofen, wobei ein variabler Abgasan­ teil aus dem Ofen in eine Mischkammer zurückgeführt wird, in die die Heizbrenner münden und in der Mischkammer eine Regelung der Heißgasmenge und Heißgastemperatur der in den eigentlichen Ofenraum eingeführten Heißgase derart erfolgt, daß die Temperatur der Heißgase nur eine geringe Differenz gegenüber der maximalen Wärmguttemperatur aufweist und der eigentliche Ofen im Bereich seiner Speicherzone Laufbahnen für die Chargiermaschine au­ fweist.
