Abstract

Bei einem Abhitzekessel (2) für die Rückgewinnung von Abwärme aus einem staubbeladenen heißen Gas, insbesondere Kreislaufgas aus einem Kokstrockenkühler, mit mindestens einem von der Seite über mindestens einen sich horizontal erstreckenden Anschlußkanal (1) angeströmten und von dem umgelenkten Gas nach unten durchströmten Kesselzug (3) mit Wandberohrung (8) und von dem Gas durchströmten Heizflächen (11, 13, 14), ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß im Übergangsbereich von Anschlußkanal (1) und Kesselzug (3) eine Beschleunigungsnase (1a) für das in den Kesselzug einströmende heiße Gas (G) angeordnet ist, daß an der von dem Anschlußkanal (1) abgewandten Rückwand (8a) des Kesselzuges (3) ein oben offener und sich im wesentlichen über die gesamte Rückwand erstreckender Staubabscheidekanal (10) vorgesehen ist, und daß der nicht vom Staubabscheidekanal eingenommene Querschnitt des Kesselzuges (3) von einer Strömungsvergleichmäßigungseinrichtung (15, 16) überdeckt ist.
