Claims (9)

  1. Material zum Schutz gegen Röntgenstrahlen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es im wesentlichen besteht aus einer Harzmatrix, die ein Gemisch (a) von Metallen mit der Atomzahl von mindestens 47 oder ein Gemisch (b) aus mindestens einem Metall mit der Atomzahl von mindestens 47 und mindestens einer anorganischen Verbindung eines Metalls mit der Atomzahl von mindestens 47 in Form eines gleichmäßig dispergierten Pulvers enthält, das erst bei einer Temperatur von mindestens 630°C schmilzt.
  2. Material nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Gemisch (a) von Metallen mindestens zwei Metalle umfaßt, die komplementäre Röntgenstrahlenabsorptionsspektren aufweisen.
  3. Material nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Metall und die organische Verbindung des Gemisches (b) komplementäre Röntgenstrahlenabsorptionsspektren aufweisen.
  4. Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Pulver 25 bis SO Vol.-% des Materials darstellt.
  5. Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Pulver eine Korngröße in dem Bereich von 0,5 bis 25 µm hat.
  6. Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Pulver eine Korngröße in dem Bereich von 1,6 bis 10 µm hat.
  7. Material nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Metall ausgewählt wird aus Silber, Tantal, Wolfram, Barium, Hafnium und Uran.
  8. Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die anorganische Verbindung ausgewählt wird aus einem Oxid, einem Nitrid und einem Carbid.
  9. Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Pulver besteht aus einem Gemisch von Barium und Hafnium, einem Gemisch von Wolfram und Uranoxid, einem Gemisch von Tantal und Uranoxid oder einem Gemisch von Wolfram und Tantal.
