Abstract

Afin d'adapter particulièrement bien un radiateur au gaz de rayons infra-rouges (brûleur radiant) aux conditions opérationnelles, la quantité de gaz amenée de façon contrôlée est temporairement réduite afin de diminuer le dégagement d'énergie jusqu'à ce que celui-ci se situe en-dessous de 40% environ ou encore moins du dégagement maximal d'énergie du radiateur de rayons infra-rouges. Au moins pendant les travaux effectués à ce niveau, une flamme séparée de la quantité de gaz amenée de façon contrôlée est maintenue dans la chambre de combustion du radiateur au gaz de rayons infra-rouges. A cet effet, en particulier au moins une buse (22) s'ouvrant dans la chambre de combustion (4) maintient une flamme permanente.

Claims (7)

1. Procédé pour faire fonctionner un radiateur infra-rouge à gaz à émission d'énergie variable et comprenant une chambre de combustion délimitée sensiblement de tous côtés par des éléments constitutifs, radiateur dans lequel la quantité de gaz, autre que l'air, amenée dans la chambre de combustion ou dans une chambre de mélange placée en amont est modifiable à l'aide d'une commande, procédé caractérisé en ce que, pour diminuer l'émission d'énergie du radiateur infra-rouge, on réduit temporairement, au moyen d'une commande à impulsions, la quantité de gaz admise jusqu'à une valeur située dans une plage qui correspond à une émission d'énergie inférieure à 40 % environ de l'émission d'énergie maximum du radiateur infra-rouge et pour laquelle l'admission d'air est maintenue constante et en ce que, au moins en travaillant dans cette plage dans la chambre de combustion, on maintient une flamme alimentée en gaz séparément de la quantité de gaz admise de façon commandée.
2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'on réduit temporairement la quantité de gaz admise de façon commandée jusqu'à une valeur située dans une plage qui correspond à une émission d'énergie inférieure à 20 % environ de l'émission d'énergie maximum du radiateur infra-rouge.
3. Procédé selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que l'on réduit temporairement la quantité de gaz admise de façon commandée jusqu'à une une valeur située dans une plage qui correspond à une émission d'énergie pratiquement nulle du radiateur infra-rouge.
4. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la flamme alimentée séparément en gaz est également fournie de façon séparée en air de combustion.
5. Radiateur infra-rouge à gaz comportant une chambre de mélange raccordée aux canalisations d'alimentation en gaz et en air et une chambre de combustion délimitée sensiblement de tous côtés par des éléments constitutifs et dans laquelle débouchent des arrivées individuelles qui sont destinées au mélange air-gaz provenant de la chambre de mélange et qui traversent une couche isolante résistant à la chaleur, la quantité de gaz de combustion admissible par unité de temps étant modifiable au moyen d'un organe réglable associé à l'arrivée de gaz du brûleur, en particulier radiateur destiné à être utilisé dans le procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que, pour faire varier la quantité de gaz de combustion admise, il est prévu une commande à impulsions et en ce que, en plus des arrivées (12) du mélange air-gaz de la chambre de combustion (4), il est prévu au moins une buse (22) ou analogue dirigée vers la chambre de combustion (4), destinée à une flamme de veilleuse et associée à une canalisation de gaz (21) propre à ladite buse et indépendante de la .commande de la quantité de gaz de combustion.
6. Radiateur selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que la buse (22) ou analogue destinée à la flamme de veilleuse est entourée d'un chemin d'écoulement (23) pour de l'air ou un fluide contenant de l'air.
7. Radiateur selon les revendications 5 et 6, comprenant une chambre de précombustion qui est alimentée avec le mélange air-gaz provenant de la chambre de mélange et qui est séparée de la chambre de combustion par ladite couche isolante résistant à la chaleur, caractérisé en ce que le chemin d'écoulement (23) est un canal traversant la couche isolante (9).
