Definitions

  • the invention relates to a discharge device according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • GB-A-2 013 774 has disclosed such a discharge device, in which two tappet parts are attached to one another at the rear end of a shaft of the pumping piston and accommodate a valve body in the area of their mutual connection. This is therefore not arranged on the actual pump piston and cannot be preassembled with it without the tappet parts being installed.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a discharge device of the type mentioned, which allows an advantageous valve control with a simple structure, safe function and simple assembly.
  • the thrust piston pump expediently has a cylinder housing with a pump piston of a piston unit which can be moved in a cylinder along a cylinder path via a pump stroke from an initial position to an end-of-stroke position with a piston shaft and which delimits a pump chamber in the cylinder, to which a pump chamber is discharged Outlet opening leading outlet channel is connected via an outlet valve, wherein an auxiliary piston is provided for opening the outlet valve, which is guided in a control cylinder exposed to the pressure in the pump chamber.
  • the auxiliary piston and the control cylinder can preferably lie within the piston unit.
  • valve part of the exhaust valve which is movable against spring force, for example, can be displaceably supported only opposite and on the piston unit, without being directly influenced by the position of the pump piston.
  • the movable valve part can also be moved relatively long-stroke as intended, for example over a stroke that is several times larger than the diameter of the auxiliary piston, without additional height of the discharge device being required for this purpose.
  • the piston unit in particular the piston shaft, directly forms the control cylinder, the auxiliary piston preferably being displaceably mounted parallel to the pump piston in the piston unit.
  • the auxiliary piston can have a significantly smaller diameter than the pump piston.
  • the opening movement of the auxiliary piston can be opposite to the pumping stroke movement of the pump piston, as a result of which an extremely simple direct line connection between the pump chamber and the auxiliary piston is possible.
  • control cylinder is provided in a section of the piston skirt which is expanded in terms of the inner width compared to the section adjoining the outlet opening or has the same outer cross-sections as this section, so that despite the smooth cylindrical piston shaft on the outside thereof an extended control cylinder with end shoulders to support a return spring is created.
  • the auxiliary piston is inserted from the front end of the pump piston into the control cylinder, which is preferably closed at the associated end with a cylinder cover inserted into the cuff-shaped pump piston except for a connecting channel to the pump chamber. This provides a simple stop for the end position of the auxiliary piston associated with the closed position.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment in particular a discharge device of the type described, consists in that a movably mounted valve closing part of the exhaust valve is formed directly by an annular piston lip of the auxiliary piston, so that a separate valve closing part is not necessary.
  • the valve closing part or the piston lip is designed in such a way that, in the open position, it releases a passage for the medium between it and the associated cylinder wall, which therefore flows past the auxiliary piston in the open position.
  • the longitudinal channels can be offset relative to the position of the auxiliary piston associated with the closed position so that the auxiliary piston must first be moved over a flow path without opening the outlet valve until it reaches an open position when sufficient pressure is reached in the pump chamber.
  • the exhaust valve does not open with the first movement of the auxiliary piston, but it is already under the conditions of sliding friction before the exhaust valve opens.
  • the auxiliary piston can be securely guided in the piston unit with at least one slide rod adjoining at least one piston side, preferably a slide rod passing through the pump piston penetrating the passage for the medium.
  • the discharge device 1 has a thrust piston pump 2 lying in a pump axis with a cylinder housing 3 which is reduced in diameter several times.
  • the lower section of the furthest part of the cylinder housing 3 forms a cylinder 4 and on the inside a piston track 5 for the pump piston 7 of a piston unit 6, which is displaceably mounted parallel to the pump axis between two stop positions.
  • the cuff or Cup-shaped pump piston 7, which points with its cup opening in the direction of the pump stroke, is connected to a piston shaft 8, which connects in one piece to a rear, annular cup end wall of the pump piston 7 and passes in one piece to an actuating head 9.
  • the actuating head 9 is plugged onto the associated end of the piston skirt 8 with a reduced outer diameter.
  • the pump piston 7 delimits a pump chamber 10 within the cylinder 4 and is penetrated by an outlet channel 11 connected to this pump chamber 10, which leads through the entire piston shaft 8 and is connected to an outlet opening 12 in the actuating head 9.
  • the outlet channel 11 can be closed within the piston unit 6 or the pump piston 7 with an outlet valve 13 lying in the pump axis, which has an auxiliary piston 14 on the movable valve closing part 16 and a control cylinder 15 for guiding it, which is integral with the piston shaft 8 formed, that is formed by a longitudinal portion of this piston skirt 8, passes through the end wall of the pump piston 7 and extends to the front or inner end face of this end wall with a substantially constant diameter.
  • the tapered end of the pump chamber 10 opposite the pump piston 7 merges into an inlet channel 18 which is connected to the pump chamber 10 with the interposition of an inlet valve 19 designed as a ball check valve.
  • the rear end of the cylinder housing 3, which is adjacent to the actuating head 9, is formed in one piece with an annular flange 20 projecting beyond its outer circumference, which, via a snap connection, receives a cylinder cover 21 penetrated by the piston skirt 8 and with its rear end face rests against an inner shoulder of a cap 22, which does so Cylinder housing 3 surrounds with a cap jacket and is provided with a thread for attachment to the neck of a storage vessel, for example in the cap jacket.
  • the cap 22 has a collar jacket in which the actuating head 9 engages in any position.
  • the inner shoulder of the cap 22 formed by an annular wall is also penetrated by the piston skirt 8. Due to the direct support of the cylinder housing 3 by means of the ring flange 20 on the end face of the neck of the vessel, the cylinder housing 3 cannot detach from the neck of the vessel and fall into the vessel. Further can be pressed into its fastening position in the ring flange 20 by the system on the ring wall of the cylinder cover 21 in addition to the snap connection.
  • the piston 7 has at its front end an annular main sealing lip 23 which is guided on the piston raceway 5 and which is opposite an annular stop shoulder 25 in the cylinder 4 and against which the associated open end face of the pump piston 7 strikes in the stroke end position.
  • the pumping piston 7 has at the rear end a ring-shaped support sealing lip 24 which is flared to the rear and is provided approximately in the axial region of the auxiliary piston 14 in the closed position or slightly behind or behind the end wall of the pumping piston 7.
  • a cover sleeve 26 is inserted on the inside of its end wall, which extends approximately to the main sealing lip 23 and in which a return spring 27, which is designed as a helical compression spring and is located in the pump chamber 10, is supported with one end, whereby the other end of this return spring 27 lies directly adjacent to the inlet valve 19 on an inner shoulder of the cylinder housing 3.
  • the piston unit 6 lies against the inner end of a sleeve extension of the cylinder cover 21 projecting into the cylinder housing 3 with a frustoconical circumferential section which forms a transition section between the outer circumference of the piston skirt 8 and the end wall of the pump piston 7 and within the support -Sealing lip 24 is located.
  • the cylinder housing 3 Adjacent to the outer circumference of the sleeve extension of the cylinder cover 21, the cylinder housing 3 has openings as ventilation openings for the vessel, through which openings external air can flow into the vessel through the annular gap between the piston skirt 8 and the cylinder cover 21. In the initial position of the piston unit 6, this ventilation connection is closed in a valve-like manner by the described abutment of the pump piston 7 on the cylinder cover 21.
  • the sleeve shoulder of the cylinder cover 21 has axial guide ribs 28 which are evenly distributed over the circumference and which continuously run approximately radial ribs on the outer end face of an annular disk of the cylinder cover 21 which engages in the ring flange 20.
  • the guide ribs 28 guide the piston skirt 8 with their longitudinal edges in the area of limited strip zones, while the radial ribs rest on the ring wall of the cap 22 or on its inner shoulder, so that the cylinder cover 21 is clamped between this ring wall and the ring flange, especially when the cap 22 has been screwed onto a vessel.
  • the guide ribs 28 end at a short distance from the inner end of the sleeve extension of the cylinder cover 21, so that this end forms an annularly closed valve seat for the ventilation valve described.
  • the control cylinder 15, which is longer compared to the pump stroke of the piston unit 6, has a raceway 29 for the auxiliary piston 14 which is enlarged in terms of the inside diameter in relation to the adjacent section of the outlet channel 11 in such a way that the piston shaft 8 in the area of the cylinder 15 is substantially thinner than in the other areas.
  • the auxiliary piston 14 is provided as an annular extension on the outer circumference of a plunger-shaped slide rod 30 which projects approximately equally over both end faces of the auxiliary piston 14, so that a front and a rear slide rod section are formed, both slide rod sections having approximately the same outer cross sections.
  • the rear, completely within the piston shaft 8 slide rod section passes through the control cylinder 15 over its entire length and protrudes with an end section in the subsequent, narrowed section of the outlet channel 11 with so much play that an annular gap remains free for the passage of the medium.
  • the front slide rod section passes through the pump piston 7 or a central opening in the end wall of the likewise cup-shaped cover sleeve 26, this slide rod section protruding freely into the pump chamber 10.
  • An annular gap is left free between the central opening and the outer periphery of the front slide rod section, so that a transition 31 is created, via which the pump chamber 10 is permanently connected to the pressure chamber of the control cylinder 15.
  • the auxiliary piston 14 forms a frustoconically shaped sealing lip 32 directed in cross-section against the pump chamber 10, which rests on the race of the control cylinder 15 with an edge that defines its free end face on the outer circumference and is pressed more strongly against the raceway, the higher the pressure in the Pressure room is.
  • the free end face of the sealing lip 32 also lies sealingly against the associated end face of the end wall of the cover sleeve 26 and for limiting the stop of the valve closing part 16 in the closed position.
  • a valve spring 33 bears on the auxiliary piston 14, which is formed by a prestressed helical compression spring which closely surrounds the associated slide rod section and whose other end is supported on the associated end shoulder of the control cylinder 15.
  • auxiliary piston 14 Provided on the raceway 29 for the auxiliary piston 14 are a plurality of axial longitudinal ribs 34 which are distributed uniformly over the circumference and which, in cross-section, project inwards over the raceway and whose ste are in the closed position
  • the auxiliary pistons 14 facing ends 35 lie at a certain distance from the auxiliary piston 14 or from the piston lip 32. These ends 35 run in the manner of inclined ramps at a flat angle, so that the sealing lip 32 can run onto the longitudinal ribs 34 without the risk of damage. As soon as the sealing lip 32 has reached the area of the longitudinal ribs 34, it is indented according to FIG.
  • each longitudinal rib 34 in such a way that a transition opening 36 is opened on both sides of this longitudinal rib 34, which on the one hand is separated from the raceway 29 and the associated side flank of the Longitudinal rib 34 and on the other hand is limited by the sealing lip 32.
  • the transition openings 36 reach a more or less large opening cross section.
  • this opening cross section can also be kept constant over a certain or the entire opening travel, so that the valve opening remains the same despite movements of the valve closing part.
  • the auxiliary piston 14 thus forming the valve closing part of the exhaust valve 13 is returned to its closed position by the valve spring 33.
  • control cylinder 15 which is moved out of the socket formed by the guide rib 28 in the stroke-end position of the pump piston, is designed to be elastically expanded so that it bulges slightly under a certain compressive pressure and that by the associated end of the raceway 29 and by the end face of the cover sleeve 26 formed valve seat 17 is deformed so that compressed air can pass through the outlet valve 13.
  • the pump chamber 10 which has not yet been filled with liquid, could be vented particularly simply and quickly.
  • the auxiliary piston 14 or the valve closing part 16 can be inserted with the valve spring 33 in a simple manner through the pump piston 7 into the control cylinder 15 and secured by pressing the cover sleeve 26 into the pump piston 7.
  • the piston unit 6 then forms with the outlet valve 13 a self-contained assembly 37 which can be inserted into the cylinder housing 3 from the rear end.
  • the cylinder cover 21 can already be combined with this structural unit 37.
