Durch die DE-OS 36 03 190 ist ein Anfahrkopf der vorgenannten Gattung bekannt, wobei ein Abkühl- und Verbindungselement durch Schrauben auf einem Anfahrkopf befestigt ist, der mit einem Anfahrstrang verbunden ist. An der Oberseite des Abkühl- und Verbindungselements sind pilzartige Vorsprünge angeformt, die von der einströmenden Stahlschmelze umgossen werden. Vor der Lösung der gestellten Aufgabe stand die Erkenntnis, daß der Gußbandanfang und das Abkühl- und Verbindungselement entgegengesetzten Temperaturverläufen unterliegen. Das kalt in die Kokille eingeführte Abkühl- und Verbindungselement wird durch die Stahlschmelze und den erstarrenden Bandanfang kontinuierlich erwärmt und dehnt sich infolgedessen aus. Dem gegenüber wird der Bandanfang nach seiner Erstarrung durch die Kokillenwände und außerhalb der Kokille durch Kühlwasserbeaufschlagung weiter abgekühlt und versucht zu schrumpfen. Da das Schrumpfen durch die kompakte Verbindung zum sich dehnenden Abkühl- und Verbindungselement blockiert wird, entstehen schädliche Schrumpfrisse in Längsrichtung des Bandanfangs.Before the problem was solved, the knowledge was found that the beginning of the cast strip and the cooling and connecting element are subject to opposite temperature profiles.
